Jared (jdhenze) | 10 comments Bit of context, I've been a Marvel fan forever, mostly because I only have so many resources I had to choose which of the big two to dive into. But now that I've joined Brandon and Danica in the world of comic retail I want to broaden my horizons.

So where should I start? I've read a bunch of the classic DC stories so I'm looking to focus on the recent era, lets say New 52 to current. Any specific titles stand out to people as must reads?

Jennifer Blair (j_r_blair) | 6 comments I've personally really enjoyed the New 52 Wonder Woman and Aquaman books. As a relative noob to graphic novels, I found that the New 52 books were a good introduction to those two characters, and I've liked the storylines so far. The DC Bombshells series is off to a really good start too, if you're into female superheroes kicking ass during WW2.

kels (lanom) | 4 comments I really like the Injustice: Gods Among Us arc. Evil Superman fascinates me. It's also great for casual fans (like me), because you don't have to worry about all the back story and continuity of the solo titles - Injustice stands on its own.

Batwoman is fantastic as well - Kate is one of my favourite DC characters.

New 52's Suicide Squad wasn't bad - way more in-depth characterization than what we got with the movie.
