I have to say, I've always found Ursula LaGuin to always be ahead of her time.

I just finished A Wizard of Earthsea. So beautiful. Even though I'm familiar with the psychology of shadow, I love the texture of her storytelling to take us though the journey.

I have read little bits of her work in anthologies so have wanted to read her books. This is a great start. And it was already on my (actually Jim's) bookshelf. I think he has more, so I'll look for them.

She does seem to have a timeless mind.
