HUUUUUUUGE library with tons of books and places to read.

Kyler shook his hair out of his eyes as he wandered from book to book. Nothing really looked interesting... Then sgain he was hardly looking. He was decoding to many things at once. He shook his hair again and just chose a book at random. It was a book about stars, which worked for him because it was mostly foot notes and patterns and names.

Kyler chose a chair and sat down. There was some one in the chair across from him, but he didn't bother looked up. They were barely moving so he assumed they'd fallen asleep or something...

Kyler startled when the girl across from him started jumping around looked up at her. His face stretched into a grin when he recognised who it was. "Well look who it is! Are you following me now?"

Kyler chuckled and shook his head. "And here I thought you didn't like me."

"I can tell you're not reading," Kyler told her. "You're just staring at the book. If you were reading your eyes would be moving."

"Yeah I could." Kyler grinned at her. "And if I couldn't then, I can now." He couldn't noticing how actually very pretty her deep blue eyes were. He caught himself staring and glanced around the library. That was new. Of course he'd complimented girls on their eyes before, but he'd never really actually noticed... Why was he noticing all of the things about Nara?

"To read, obviously." Kyler showed her the book and gestured to the other books. "Isn't that what you do in a library?"

Kyler laughed lightly and pointed to the book he was showing her. "Universe."

"What're you reading? I mean... pretending to read?" Kyler asked.

"Elvin history is the worst. Well... next to Telepathy training or whatever everyone calls that." Kyler made a face at the history book.

"Not really. Just extra studying because I have literally nothing better to do. Or even anything less boring."

"Well that's where you'd be wrong." Kyler chuckled. "My parents are rarely home, I have no siblings, and we only have one gnome helping us with the keeping of our ridiculously big house."

((*remembers that he told her that he had a brother* *shrugs*))

"Linx and Nate are currently shunning me, and Nyle has his own stuff to do that he can't get out of." Kyler shrugged. "Studying is usually what I do anyway. I'd do just about anything to not have to study but there isn't anything. So here I am."

"I do. Not to brag." Kyler grinned. "And uh, honestly I have no clue. They shunned me before I could ask why they were in the first place. They do that a lot." He rolled his eyes but smirked.

"So you admit you think I'm good looking!" Kyler said with a(nother freaking) grin.

((Lol! Yeah my characters are basically bipolar cause grinning again means they had to stop grinning in the first place))

Kyler chuckled. "Did you know that you're cute when you wrinkle your nose like that?" Oh. Well. Yeah just go on doing that. Yeah. She clearly likes that. He sighed inwardly.

"Is that good or bad?" Kyler asked.

Kyler glanced around the library again. Awkwardness was stupid. Yup. Completely. Stupid. Who invented that emotion? It was a terrible emotion.

"Uh huh..." Kyler nodded slowly and looked down at his book.

Kyler started skimming over the patterns, half heartedly trying to memorize them for later reference. What was it about Nara that made him so weird? He wasn't like this around anyone else.

Kyler looked up and cocked his head. "By humming?" He was partially disappointed that she'd stopped.

"Aw, it's okay. If you need any help with anything I could tutor you," Kyler offered.

"Yeah." Kyler shrugged. "It wouldn't be any big deal. Plus it would give me something to do." He grinned.

((SANS :D))

"I'm not smiling," Kyler informed her matter of factly. "I'm grinning. There's a difference." He fist pumped inwardly. He hadn't been expecting her to actually say yes.

((Yeah!))

At the mention of food, Kyler's stomach growled. He chuckled. "I do too. How about we go get something to eat?"

"No clue. Where do you want to go?" Kyler asked.

"I think there's a cafeteria here," Kyler suggested.

"Awesome." Kyler stood up and linked arms with Nara. "Come along my student. We can't very well study if we're hungry."

"Nah. But I do insist you call me Supreme Master of Knowledge," Kyler said, snickering.

"Those work too." Kyler started marching in a random direction, pulling Nara along with him.

Kyler let Nara take the lead. "You can have them back when we get to the cafeteria."

((Explosions are always fun))

"Stop breaking your foot," Kyler told her. "Unless you want another Elwin visit. Maybe you can break that Sophie girl's record."

"But if you do it enough times it won't stop hurting," Kyler said.

((These two are just so funny!))

Kyler shrugged. "Okay. But you can't complain when you break your foot and I have to take you to Elwin again."

((How they explode though?))

Kyler grinned mischievously, then unlinked their arms, tripped Nara so she twisted backwards but was falling forwards, then caught her before she was even close to the ground. He smiled down at her. "You just quite literally just fell for me I believe," he flirted.

((*snorts* Smooth, Kyler. Real smooth))

((That's nice dear))

Kyler spun so he got the brunt of the impact with Nara on top of him rather the other way around. "Would yah look at that? I fell for you too!" He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

"Oh please. You weight about as much as a leaf." Kyler let her help him up, mostly because when he was standing he laced their fingers together and chuckled. "Can't stop. But I will get you to the cafeteria."

((Me: Amen sista. FRIES BEFORE GUYS! *nods*))

((Sure thing lol!)) ((I seriously can't get over the cuteness of these two!))

Kyler nodded. "Will do, m'lady." He looked around for a map. Bad news, he couldn't see one. Good news, he saw the food court across the room. "Aha!"

"Aha means food," Kyler confirmed, pulling her towards the cafeteria.

((Well I think she blushed earlier when Kyler tripped and caught her so I think she's doing good!))

((How?))

Kyler got a few half waves and curious glances at his and Nara's linked hands from the other prodigies, which he acknowledged by waving back.

((*only skimmed the last one* *goes back and reads it thoroughly* ^.^' Okie))

Kyler chuckled and shook his head lightly. "I'm telling yah Nara..."

Kyler raised his free hand in surrender. "Alright. Have it your way." He looked down and her and grinned. "Are you blushing?" He asked.

Kyler laughed. "I'll take that as a yes then. What do you want to eat?" He asked, since they'd just arrived in the cafeteria

Kyler nodded to Nara, then ordered. It only took a few minutes so he just waited at the counter, then brought Nara her food and sat across from her. "So, where are you in Elvin history? Not your teacher, you."

((YAY!))

Kyler made a :/ face, but shrugged it off. "Alright. Shouldn't be to hard to catch you up from there. After we're done eating I'll go get a bunch of history books. We can work at my place. The seats here aren't really good for dual studying."

((Batches of pies))

"Well I mean all of the chairs are spaced pretty far from each other for personal reading. So we would have to yell across to each, which isn't allowed. So your options are, sit on my lap while I teach you Elvin history like a human mother teaching her child to read, or we can sit on my floor where we can spread the books out for references and actually try to learn something." Personally, he liked the first option better. But the second option would actually result in stuff getting done.

"Sounds good." Kyler nodded and ate at the same pace as Nara. He wondered if his parents would show up today. That would just perfect... He could imagine how that would go.

"Hey son! Who's your friends?" *suggestive wink from his dad*

"Oh hello dear! Well you must be a special one if he actually brought you home! We never get to meet any of the girls he talks to!" *beaming smile at Nara from his mom*
