A playful groan was all he afforded Lyra as they got to the bar "I'll make you food occasionally, but I'm not a chef. My cooking experience is scavenging and burning" he said, strolling towards the actual bar side as he got in, sitting on a heightened stool
"I don't care as long as I can eat it", she actually doesn't care as long as she gets to eat because truth is she is just lazy. Lyra sat on the bar counter and looked around, "I came here after a long time"
"Honestly? I don't think I've drank here before... It's not really not my choice of evening activity..." He said, almost as if it was a confession. He drank at the old bar when he was a warrior, but as soon as he became a gamma he couldn't remember a night out
"Last time I came here with Damon, we played and drank until we couldn't move, I can't remember how but we somehow woke up in my room. When he is here we do stuff like spending whole night hunting or camping or something even more stupid, most of them are on a whim" Lyra said smiling at the memory.
"Awww. If only he wasn't gay, you'd have a whale of a time" Lykos joked with a smirk, looking around the bar itself. It seemed somewhat rough. But in a nice and cosy way. He was used to the masculine atmosphere these places exhumed
(( Is it rough? should I change the image?))
"I like him for who he is, I don't wanna him to change because he is one of the few I opened myself up to, I don't want that to change, ever" Lyra got down and went towards the pool table "We should change this" she said after taking a quick look at it
"I like him for who he is, I don't wanna him to change because he is one of the few I opened myself up to, I don't want that to change, ever" Lyra got down and went towards the pool table "We should change this" she said after taking a quick look at it
"Change this? What do you mean?" He asked, calling across the bar rather than stand from his seat. He wanted this to be a bit less of a friend's night and have a bit more tension present, but he didn't exactly want to force that
She simply said "Pool table" and walked over to where Lykos was and sat next to him "So what are we gonna do about Lysandra, These days she is acting crazy, I don't wanna loose her", finally she told him what she was really thinking
He pondered for a moment as he made he way over. Lykos might not be the best person to ask as he wasn't too fond of her. He might be biased. "Personally, I think she's too unstable. She's a loose cannon, she couldn't even kill the assigned enemy of the pack, and she runs by her own agenda. I think someone more level headed would suit her role. And a single vampire kill? Do you know how many I took out during the wars? More than one, believe me" he said, leaning against the table, half-sitting with his arms folded
"Yeah she is unstable, I thought she might get over it with time but.." Lyra trailed off, "I know I know both you and Damon have killed many vampires, maybe I should discuss this with someone who doesn't dislike her unlike you" she said the last part giving him a little playful kick
"Hey, at least I'm being fair when asked" he said, swinging his leg back as a threat of retaliation "ask the new guy, since you obviously value his opinion so much more than mine" Lykos stated, faking offense
"What is this...mmmm someone's jealous" Lyra laughed and asked "So got no night adventures today Mr.lady-killer?"
"I would if she replies..." he said, mockingly checking his phone "not tonight, or at least not yet" he said, looking over to the bar "come on, let's actually get a drink" he said, indicating that she should follow him. Something about tonight made him nervous
"Yeah" Lyra got up and followed him, he is acting a little strange, maybe she is imagining things, her fantasy radar often goes wild, so she might not trust it too much
Lykos decided to hoist himself over the wooden bar surface to get at the drinks behind it. He landed with an almost graceful thud as he browsed what was on offer. He thought a liquor wouldn't exactly hurt. "So, what can I get cha?"
"Coming right up" he said, turning and grabbing the tequila. He wasn't too specific with the measurement of it and the Sec, but he figured she wouldn't mind. He placed the finishing product in front of her and grabbed something for himself. He wasn't gonna drink tonight, he figured
Lyra took her drink and looked at Lie,"Not gonna drink?" she asked, this is not like him at all, now concerned she looked at him, beating around the bush was never her thing, "Care to share with me?"
"Lyra, the elder told me something earlier, and I don't want you to freak out about it" he said, hoping she'd have drank a little more by the time he got round to revealing this, but such was the hand he'd been given
She doesn't want to hear it but she can't run away forever. She took a sip and asked bracing herself for the worst news "Spit it already Lie"
"He said that a union between us would strengthen their opinion on you as alpha" he said, sighing a little "he liked you as alpha, he said your fiery attitude will help us back on our feet, but my levelheadedness would be a good compliment to that" he said, not really wanting to look at her. He used an elders recommendation as a poor confession? Kinda weak of him
She choked on her drink, maybe she didn't hear him correctly so she asked "Can you tell that again, I think I misheard you"
He couldn't say that it didn't hurt a little bit "nothing, never mind, it doesn't matter" he said, turning away and going to the fridge, helping himself to a drink. He sigh as he continued to not meet her eye. She ridiculed the idea, he should have expected it
James walked into the bar he had new clothes on to cover the bandages, he looked over and saw the moonlight alpha and walked over to her "do you got a min?" He asked.
She was looking at Lykos when James came and talked to her. She jumped at his voice, she didn't notice him at all, her mind went blank when she heard Lie, should she act like she didn't hear it at all, is it fair to do that? but she cooled her features and asked "yeah Mr.Bomb what is it?"
He backed down, silently thanking the fact that he wasn't the focus of attention after what he said. He simply looks straight down at the counter, listening but not caring as to what james wanted
