She'd been calm and ignoring the insults. If the three thousand year old dragon was immature enough to whisper insults, she wasn't going to aggravate him right before first flight. "You ready?"
((Yeah, when we all agree on it and are on, let's meet up!))
Anya waited for permission to mount.
Anya waited for permission to mount.
She didn't use a saddle anyways. Too much like a horse, though she was tempted just to make him feel humiliated. Pretend respect, come on, pretend respect.
She mounted easily and naturally, settling herself and holding on firmly. She was not going to be blown off into the wind.
His four wings spread out.he knew letting her fall would be a bad thing, so he started off sliw.
She smirked. "Let's see how it goes, okay?" she asked, "I don't want to move too fast in this relationship," Anya joked.
With that, Ro'Daar shot off, his four wings helping him go faster then a dragon should at his size.
((What do??))
She grinned, actually thrilled at the speed. This was fun, actually, pretty fun indeed. Never mind the fact that he likely wanted her dead. It was still fun.

Entering the flight class Lily saw that she was alone, which was good. It meant she could get her nerves under control. On the walk here she'd managed to freak herself with a bunch of worst case scenarios. She knew most of them were riduclious and was able to rid herself of the thoughts fairly easily and wipe her face clean of any emotions other open curiosity and determination.
Tokoz entered the classroom shortly after her. He hoped his sister was doing well and not being bullied. She was so small others sometimes made fun of her for it.
At the sound of what she knew was her bond she turned around. "I so knew there was no such thing as coincidence." she said with a grin walking toward him, "Why hello again."
Feelings of affection welled up in Tokoz that he hadn't felt towards any human before though he hid them. He nodded. "I am glad we were able to meet before being bonded." He said. He moved over to her and lay next to her, still towering over her though less so now.
She grinned, "Likewise, even though it was short and filled with talk about pointless things like phrases about cats," honestly meeting him before becoming bonded had been a good thing made her less nervous and weary not that he knew that since she so easily hid her emotions most of the time unlike her best friend who hadn't mastered that skill and wore her emotions plain as day.
He rested his head on his foreclaws and looked at her. "Would you rather have philosophical debates on the meaning of life?" He asked dryly. The bond between them was palpable but didn't feel as odd or forced as it had earlier which he supposed was good.
"We could but the conversation wouldn't last very long before it went in a completely different direction that had nothing to do with the meaning of life." she answered honestly. Knowing her she'd probably be the one to steer the conversation into a whole other direction and all it would take was him to say one word that reminded her of something else.
Tokoz rumbled a chuckle. "True." He said. He didn't know how long the conversation would last period though. She had said he didn't talk much though he didn't mind. It was true.
"That and I've already listened to people have that debate. Well that is until I interrupted with my completely pointless commentary." she explained, "of course that was mostly out of boredom," she said mostly to herself. "Of course my best friends older brother Alex tells me I just like to hear myself talk, which may or may not be true."
He looked at her in amusement. "I believe it is true." He said when she finally took a breath between sentences. She did talk a lot. The class was still empty and briefly he wondered if they were in the wrong place.
She narrowed her eyes slightly. "I don't know its that's a compliment, a statement or an insult." she said, "but I think I'll take it as a statement just to be on the safe side." She knew when Alex said it he did it to annoy her, but for her talking was as natural as breathing.
"It was only a statement." Tokoz assured her since she seemed a bit sensitive on the subject. He stretched his wings out a bit before folding them along his back again. Lily tended to get carried away sometimes.
"Hey I never got a name." she said in realization, "Mines Lily." she told him not even realizing she'd completely changed the topic.
"Tokoz." He replied. He had learned her name at the ceremony the night before so he wasn't surprised when he heard it though she must not have been listening as closely as he had when their names were said. Though his had been spoken in Draconic so that made sense.
She nodded in response. "So I know they said it last night, but well I'd be slightly distracted and I don't speak dragonic anyways so that's probably why I missed it." Mostly she was distracted by her bundle of nerves. Because even though she was able to hide them from everyone it didn't mean she didn't still feel them.
"That's what I thought." He said not unkindly. His eyes shut and he listened to the sounds around them. He must have been fairly early if no one else was here aside from Lily. Were they just supposed to practice flying on their own?
"Well you thought right." She leaned back against a nearby tree and just listened trying to figure out what he was listening for. Of course it didn't take long before the quiet started to bother her. "So we gonna fly or...?" she left the sentence hanging as she felt her excitement at the prospect of flying build but she forced herself not to appear outwardly excited.((sorry I didn't get a notification!))
(It's okay)Tokoz opened one eye. "I suppose we can. You might want warmer clothes though." His scales were pretty cold and once they were in the sky the winds would be blowing which would only make it colder. He didn't want to freeze his bond to death on their first flight together.
She looked down at what she was wearing. It wasn't like she was wearing summer clothing, but she wasn't wearing the warmest of clothes either. Honestly she was wearing just enough to keep her warm and to cover up the scars on her arms from her first dragon meeting which is something she hated thinking about so she pushed the thought out of her mind before it could fully form. "Your probably right," she agreed with a small nod heading to the small building which she knew had flying supplies including clothes for it which she quickly slipped on before heading back over to Tokoz.
Once she came back Tokoz flattened himself to the ground as much as he could so she could get on his back either by climbing up his tail or by climbing up his side. Even with flattening himself he was still almost 20ft tall.
Lily chose to climb up his side mostly because she liked to climb and climbing was one of her strength. The years of her and Sadie chasing each other by climbing trees had most definitely paid off, making climbing Tokoz fairly easy for Lily.
"Have you settled?" Tokoz asked once he could no longer feel her moving around on his back. He slowly stood up, straightening to his full height. He kept his wings where they were in case she was accidentally sitting on one. He didn't want to dislodge her if she was.
