100 Books Challenge discussion

I'm going to go ahead and put this thread up in case anyone wants to start reading early. I've been forgetting to do things on time lately. LOL

This is for discussion of our November group read ... The Husband by Dean Koontz. I usually enjoy Koontz' books. Haven't read one for awhile.

I've never read a book by Koontz ... though I have a few on my tbr....

I really like his work. Have only read one that I didn't really like.

Guess I need to find my copy of this one. LOL

I did find my copy & will start it soon, but doubt I finish it before the end of the year. I might surprise myself though. LOL

FINALLY starting the audio today. Only on the first disc, but I have to wonder why THIS book made the list....

Finished disc 6 ... It's definitely gripping, but I still wonder why it made the list?

Well, I finished it. 3.5***
Definitely a page-turner, but I thought the conclusion was rushed and incomplete.

Still wondering why it would make a list of 100 books you should read.

The Husband - Dean Koontz – 3.5***
Mitch Rafferty runs a two-man landscaping business, so he’s sure there’s a mistake when a kidnapper calls and says that if he “loves his wife enough” he’ll find a way to pay the exorbitant ransom. This is the first book by Koontz that I’ve read. It’s not great literature, but it sure held my attention and I’ll definitely read more from him. Especially when I’m in the mood for a fast-paced, entertaining thriller.
