I picked it up and didn't set it down until I finished. I liked it. Elizabeth Moon obviously knows quite a bit about autism. It was authentic. Worth reading just for that inside feeling.
I read this book many years ago, thought it was brilliant and passed it on to others, some of whom had autistic kids. It seems to me she has an autistic child, which would explain why she understands so well, but my memory isn't what it used to be so I could be wrong about that.

The novel is told from the perspective of an autistic process analyst. It won the Nebula Award for Best Novel in 2003.
This is the second novel the group has chosen that is written by Elizabeth Moon; the first was Remnant Population (which I quite enjoyed).
