Good luck with your *huge* challenge, MaryAnn. I just friended you back... hello from England. :-)Just wanted to add that On Writng by Stephen King, which is on your list, is absolutely excellent.
That Natalie Goldberg books is a blast! Really opened up my own attitudes about writing. She also has a book about the writing life, I don't recall the title offhand, which kinda scared me a bit.
