The Testing RP discussion

A large area covered in green grass and tall trees, with a few water fountains and benches.

Alex and Ava entered the park, Alex walking beside her bike. She loved spending her free time here, usually up in a tree with a book, or soaking her feet in the fountain. Dixon had plenty of clean water to spare, though food was a little scarce.

Ava glanced at the fountain.
"Do you remember splashing in the fountain when we were younger?" She smiled at the memory, things were easier then.

((Have we said how long they've known each other? XD))

((Hmm, let's say 8 or 9 years?))

Alex got a small, whistful smile on her face. "Yeah, I remember that. It's been a very long time since then."

Ava nodded
"I still can't believe we'll be considered as adults soon." She mumbled under her breath, would things change too drastically if they weren't selected? What would their apprenticeships be like?
"Has anyone mentioned an apprenticeship to you?"

She bit her lip and shook her head, looking away from her friend. "No, no one has wanted me." Picking at the edge of her shirt, she asked, "What about you?"

Ava looked down when she mentioned that nobody had chosen her.
"Some of my father's old colleagues mentioned something when he died, but they never talked to me again." She said and twirled a loose strand of hair around her finger.
