This may be a case in which the movie is actually better than the book. I listened to an audiobook version of Keneally's book and, though I quite appreciated it for it's objective, documentary stylings, from some of the descriptions of Spielberg's film I heard from book club members, the book seems to lack the aspect of the film's ability to make the character of Oskar Schindler live and breathe. That said, it's quite a story any way it's told.
