Ask John Green - January 23, 2013 discussion

Dear Mr. Green,

I am a big fan of your work and I'm an inspiring author myself. I have written emails and letters under my real name, but you have yet to respond to them. I don't know if you still come on and answer fans, such as myself, but I decided to try instead of not trying at all.
I was wondering if you can give me any tips on character development and how to get over writer's block.
I was also wondering if you were making any more films out of your books. I think "Looking For Alaska" would make a great film.
Also, I was wondering if you were going to do anything more with the story of "The Fault in Our Stars" and what happens to the rest of the characters. How much longer does she live? Does she ever find someone else? What happens with Issac? Does Peter ever make a sequel to "An Imperial Affliction"? I'd like to know.
I'm taking creative writing this year now that I'm a Sophomore in high school. I figured I'd get this teacher who would try to get more involved in our writing and stuff. Instead . . . I think he hates me. :(

Say I want to write books where do you get your good ideas to write about a truly romantic book and turn it into something so... good I must say you are a very good writter and some day I want to be just like you.
