Weird Westerns discussion

One thing I've been getting into lately over the last few months is Twitter chats. I have thought about doing my own Twitter chat and even more so I've thought about starting a WeirdWest Chat. I'm not sure of the full details on how it'd go but I'd definitely be interested in getting it started and even run it by Twitter so it's authentic. We’d likely use the hashtag #WeirdWestChat which hasn’t been used yet and people would be free to join in if they wish.

I'm going to try and ask people on Twitter more if they are interested. I'll probably tweet out at certain times to reach those interested and maybe it'll even help with a time I can have it. If anyone would be into doing a WeirdWest chat please let me know as I think this could help us reach an audience, talk shop like we do here but on a more social level.

So it's not much but I do have a small bit of news. Someone reached out to me last night and said they'd be interested in the chat so at least I'm getting people's attention. I plan on sending out a few more tweets at different times to get more people to see. I'm also looking into the steps to set-up and start a chat.

It looks like the hashtag #WeirdWest is pretty active already. Found tons of great Weird West reads there I'd never heard of.

Thanks Audrey. Yeah I've been using #WeirdWest to find people interested in the #WeirdWestChat.

Two years ago I tried to make this happen but I just wasn't feeling it and I didn't see it happening but I have decided to give it another try. I will attempt to gain some interest to see if I can get enough people to do a weird west chat on Twitter. I'll have to start from scratch but if the interest is there then I should have no problem. Heres to hoping I can start a weird west chat this time!
