I haven't! They're good? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews and have been a little hesitant to try, but I totally trust your opinion!!

I think it's definitely worth reading, especially if you liked anything similar to The Jewel which is while we're on the topic also a very good series. Have you read The Kiss of Deception trilogy, which is maybe my favorite YA fantasy series ever?? Sorry I give way too many recs lol

There are never too many recs... trust me, I'll be demanding more in a month! I'll check these ones out though. Thanks so much!!
Hi Clare! There're not that new, but the Lost Voices trilogy was really good. It's about girls who have had hard lives and died because of some sad or brutal event turning into mermaids. In a way, they are your typical mermaids because they are sirens, but the main character sees being a mermaid in a different light. I don't want to give too much away, but I've added the book to this post.

Hi everyone! I'd really like romance book suggestions based on the following songs ( yeah, you read that right. Eg- Love Story by Taylor Swift can have any book with the main theme of starcrossed lovers or If We Were A Movie by Miley Cyrus where any book with a girl pining over her best friend can be added)1) OMI cheerleader (A guy wanted by every girl, but having heart only for one)
2) Say You Like Me by We The Kings
3) Mine by Taylor Swift
4)Wouldn't Change A Thing by Demi lovato
5) Superstar by taylor swift
6) The Outside by taylor swift
Suggest me any book you think would be relevant. Thanks! xo
(Also, I'm new here, so i hop e I've requested in the correct section)
Hi all, have just finished Micheal Connelly's The Black Echo. Micheal Connelly has been an author that I have always meant to read but for some unknown reason never got round to. When I start a new writer I like to start at the beginning of the series and work my way up. This book was Connelly's first published but not his first effort, there was two before which he felt weren't good enough to publish. But let me tell you that this first published book has the cut and polish of an accomplished craftsman. This really is a cut above the average Cops and Robbers pulp fiction. I, for one, can't wait to start the next one. Anyone interested in Police dramas will love this.
Hey guys,I have been reading loads of fantasy recently and still have more on my shelf however i want to try a book in another genre that is not nonfiction or fantasy. I have read a thousand splendid suns, when breathe becomes air and other books similar to this. Does anyone have good recommendation that will have me hooked, preferably 1 book instead of a series. Also, on the side, if anyone could recommend amazing fantasy series, that would be amazing
Thanks <3
Oh man. If you've never read The Kiss of Deception trilogy, you HAVE TO. It's the best YA fantasy I have ever read. Seriously.
And if you like soft sci fi, I'd recommend Earth Girl. The world building is amazing, not too intense but very real!

For a dystopian read I would definitely suggest the Penryn and the End of Days series. It's honestly one of my favourites! It's got angels, rebellion, relatable characters and awesome writing!

Hey everyone,I am looking for some great books that do not involve a huge relationship part so more a book that focuses on family/friend relationships, like The book thief or Beautiful broken things or anything like that. Any suggestions?

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer is about a boy's relationships.. mainly the one to his father. Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty also focuses on the relationships of children and their parents ;) I really liked those two books.

I'm looking for some good suggestions to provide my family with before the holidays (since the only thing I ever ask for is books...). I love YA Fantasy (Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo, etc.) but am open to almost anything, new or old (there are quite a few very popular series I never got around to reading- anything by Cassandra Clare, for instance- and I'd love opinions on whether or not they're worth reading, even after the hype). I'm grateful for any and all suggestions, no matter the genre!
Thanks,
Josie
