Are you still looking for reviewers for this book? It sounds interesting and something that I'd probably enjoy. Have a look at my reading list and see if you think I should give it a try.
Hi Les and Amelia. I want people to read my book (and the rest of the books in the series once published) and get inspired, same way as so many writers have inspired me. There are also plenty of messages that I would like the readers to identify, so, the more people read it the merrier. But in order for that to happen, books need honest reviews and ratings. As such, I would be happy to give the world an enjoyable read to talk about long after they've finished it.
How many books do you have planned? I don't usually read long series but I don't mind standalone books that are linked within a common universe (think Resnick's Birthright or Star Wars, etc.)I'm a lover of story and enjoy hugely the escapism aspect of great stories (both shorts and novels). This one of the reasons why I love sci-fi so much. The Alliance sounds like it may deliver in this area!
If you have a copy to give you could send me a PM and we can go from there.
For books that are not too long I'll generally get them read within a week or two. I often have a lot of reading for my job so it depends mostly on that as to how quick I get through my leisure reading.
All the best.
There are 6 books in the series. #2 is planned for this summer. I'll get in touch with a PM and we can take it from there.
Many thanks

BTW - you can send to tpjulian@yahoo.com
I've made certain edits to the book, which is now available on paperback at https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/152049467XHave also added a timeline of events BEFORE the story and list of characters just before the prologue, just for reference. This was a recommendation I couldn't ignore, as it makes a lot of sense when you have a big cast and a deep plot.
Still happy to give the book out for reviews.
Another good review, this time from author Grady Harp: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Hi Chris. I hope you liked the review I left, which I don't think comes close to how much I enjoyed the world you've built. I'm really looking forward to what the sequels will bring about, and how the characters will develop. I have to say, I have strong feelings for Zai lol. I feel she's almost real. The rest of the cast you've created is awesome too, but Zai is my favourite female character. And the duo Jeravi and Evos Thram, they make me chuckle.

As long as I know that people enjoy the book, then I'll keep writing.
As for Zai... well, I won't name the Hollywood actress who inspired her. I'm glad you like that duo (Jeravi & Evos). I have fun writing scenes with those two.

Looking for reviews on Goodreads and Amazon for my new book The Alliance It's a sci-fi adventure of a dystopian Earth. It is mixed with a tiny bit of space opera and some mystery/superhuman elements, but not too far-fetched. It takes the Humans and their flaws and pits them against an adversary from the other side of the galaxy. Some characters from other extra-terrestrial races come into the equation and there are plenty of schemes going on in the background to keep the ball rolling. Two Humans have something special about them, which the enemy wants, but both are part of a plan to defend two civilisations from a VERY hungry third one. You'll see military forces going against alien legions, hybrids, colonies, bounty hunters, universal mysteries, war machines, space missions, AIs, alien dynasties and empires, tyrants, and a stirring of rebellious military Humans. There's a lot in the mix.
I promise you'll enjoy it.
Please let me know if there is any way I can help with your work.
Many thanks,
Chris
