Remember, you may choose which task to complete. However, we would encourage you to complete different tasks each time you land on the same Theme Park square.
There are 18 tasks (over 3 different levels) per Theme Park:
Easy: tasks that may be easily completed from participant’s bookopoly shelf
Moderate: tasks that may require participants to look outside of bookopoly shelf or further afield
Hard: tasks that may require a rather intensive research to complete (or maybe not; this will depend on the individual)
The Listopia is a work in progress and all participants are encouraged to add to this list.
This thread is also open for further discussion on the topic of opposites.

Wow! The Listopia really helps, Tien. Thanks! I have to admit that I'm not even sure which of the categories the book I chose fits, but I'm sure I'll see as I read it.
And I want to encourage everyone to add to the Listopia if you read a book for this theme that isn't already on it. It will help all of us.

I rolled the dice to see what I have to read for this:I rolled: 1;5 Task easy #5. Read a book from your bookopoly shelf with either the most or the least letters in the title.
Most: One Hundred Years of Solitude (25 letters)
Least: The Host (7 letters)
Lusie wrote: "Most: Charles Dickens: The Complete Christmas Books and Stories (49 letters)"
I'd count this as 14 letters (Charles Dickens) as whatever after the colon is subtitle...?

You could also look at it that way...thanks Tien! In that case i'll look for one with more letters I think that will be One Hundred Years of SolitudeMaybe you can add to task #5 (subtitles not included)
This is actually quite nice: I've just landed on my own (and Lusie's, obviously!) theme park square.I've chosen to go for easy level, task 2, because it's fun to sort my shelves (or my Bookopoly shelf, in this case) in different ways, and I find it particularly interesting to see which books have the lowest and the highest ratings. I've chosen to go for the lowest average rating and read a book which has no rating at all (average 0.00): Anthology of Contemporary Macedonian Poetry. I haven't read any poetry in a while, plus I need to read a book from Macedonia for my literary tour around the world, plus I felt sorry for this poor little book with no ratings at all!
Yay, Marina! I have also already landed on this theme park square and enjoyed it! I agree with you, it is fun to sort your shelves in different ways. Interesting book you will read! I hope you will like the poetry.I went for the least letters, and have read The Host. I normally don't read science fiction books and in general don't like books about aliens. This was a book I enjoyed though.
I read A Kestrel for a Knave, which fits hard level task 6, teach/learn.Billy is 15 and at school. Most of the book takes place at school, although the theme is more about him training his hawk, always there as the one thing that matters to him. At school, the teachers are terrible and he doesn't learn much, but there is some teaching and learning going on.
I gave it 5 stars but I found it a very painful read, because I just wanted to take Billy out of the deprived and bullied situation he is in.
Tien - would a slow developing form a dementia work for 4. Illness is the opposite of health: Read a book where the main character is dying (or suffering terminal illness) OR is never sick - I haven't started it yet to see what the diagnosis is (although it probably works for the half white cover too)
Hi Dee. Marina and I set up the questions for this. In answer to your question I'd say yes. If you google dementia it does say it is a terminal illness.
even worse the character in this book is a teenager when she is diagnosed...I was tossing up between The Memory Book or Mercies in Disguise: A Story of Hope, a Family's Genetic Destiny, and the Science That Rescued Them
Oh my gosh, Dee, that must be horrible... I didn't even know that could happen to teens. Not a light-hearted book, definitely.
Dee and Marina, I have heard of people who get dementia as teens or at the start at their twenties. I always thought that was horrible. That sure will be an emotional book.
I finished A Walk to Remember on 7/18/17It fits for moderate level task #3 -- the book is #9 on the Books that Made You Cry List
Liked it. *3.5 STARS*
I liked this one. I liked it more than I liked the movie I think except for one thing. I felt like the main characters Jamie and Landon had more of a connection in the movie. I just didn't see that as much in the book. I did feel more hopeful at the end of the book than I did in the movie, however, I was still bawling my eyes out.
