Which one do you like better TMI or TID?

I read all the way up to the fourth book then I lost interest. I might try it again later.

I saw the first season of the show and it's good. The movie was terrible.

Same. I've read TMI once and I don't remember anything. I've read TID three times, so yeah I know every bit of those books.

Yeah, the movie was so disappointing. I didn't like the show either, I only watched a couple of episodes.

I actually enjoy the show, but the movie just butchered the book

The movie was loyal to the book. The actress for Clary didn't even have red hair like she's supposed to, Alec looked older than he actually was, Valentine didn't look like the Valentine you would expect, and Simon didn't really seem like Simon. And Jace was repulsive. He seemed ugly, too skinny, and didn't fit Cassandra's description of him. The show was perfect. I even liked how they made Luke African American even though he was Caucasian in the book. It showed diversity.

Yeah, I had a lot of problems with the cast of the movie. Clary looked nothing like the Clary. Neither did Alec, Simon and Valentine. And don't even get me started on Jace was suppose to be really handsome and that guy was really the opposite. The cast of the TV show is so much better.

I have only just started TMI series, up to book #2. I am enjoying it so far. I love Luke Gray *hot*!

You should watch the show if you haven't already. The movie was terrible in my opinion though, but you may like it

I have watched like 2 episode because my goddaughter was watching and it seemed okay. I will probably start watching it after I finish reading City of Ashes.

Yeah, it would be better to read City of Ashes first because there are a few things that happened in the show that haven't happened in book 2 yet. Season 2 starts January 2, so start binge watching!

Already Season 2, Wow! Need to get on that ASAP.

Yeah. It's series. The show is awesome. It shows many aspects of the book, but a few things are different which makes it better. For one, Luke is black in the show which really shows diversity and I like diversity in books, shows, and movies.

Hope that the second season will be better than the first one ^^

What do you guys think about Sebastian?? He is my favorite character :)

I think I'm too normal because I tend to always hate the villains. As for Sebastian, since he's evil, I hate him. Pretty much the only bad guy I like was Cole from Charmed.

So I binge-watched on the weekend S01, got up to episode 10.
I really hope S02 is a bet better. Alec and Magnus are what keeps me watching . . . Almost finished City of Ashes (60 pages to go).

I actually liked s1. It was a great start for s2.

I just love him so much.

I haven't got to Sebastian yet, is he in City of Glass? I am about to read that.

Also finished watching Season 1 of Shawdowhunters. My fav part was at the wedding when Alec & Magnus hooked up, yay!
I am invested enough that I am looking forward to Season 2.

I'm so hyped! My two favorite shows are coming back in January!
