Lorien nodded. "Okay. Let's head inside then."
She had totally forgotten about the elixirs before they stepped inside. "Oh!" Two glass vials appeared in their palms. "Forgot about these."

"Drink up." Lorien said as she guzzled the whole thing down.
She wiped her mouth with the cloak sleeve. "Are you feeling anything weird?"

"Mine taste like stinky feet with unwashed armpits," Lorien gagged from the smell. "I heard that the transformation was painful but I don't feel any different."
"You got lucky because -" Lorien was interrupted when she could feel her body twisting and turning. She could suddenly feel herself a bit taller and when she grabbed her hair for behind her, it was blonde. That could mean she was Councilor Oralie.
Lorien couldn't help but cover her mouth as she snorted. "You're, you're." She started to laugh as the elf in front of her was mildly short, pointy ears, and cropped hair.
"You're Bronte!" Lorien clutched her stomach as she continued on laughing.
She couldn't help it. Her boyfriend, Lahke, was the grumpiest Councilor in history.

"I'm guessing for about five hours or so. If it doesn't last longer than that, I going to be rethinking my deal with Kesper." Lorien said with a smile.
"I didn't expect two Counciliors today." A voice said in the darkness of the cave.
Lorien jumped. "Who's there?"
"I'm Jurek, the caretaker. But I'm sure you already knew that." An elf came out from the shadows and revealed himself. He wore a brown low ponytail and it looked like he wrestled with green feathers.

Jurek sighed. "Nice to see my work is appreciated. Very well," He unlocked the golden gates. "Come in."
Lorien stepped through and saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel that wasn't there before.

For the jurgles, remember? To find my brother and maybe your father. Lorien transmitted back.
"Now, what are you two looking for?" Jurek asked.
"Now, what are you two looking for?" Jurek asked.
I memorized a picture of them before we left so I should know where they are. The jurgles have long snouts and are as big as a dino
"Imperfections," Jurek mumbled under his breath as he led them to the end of the tunnel. "I mean what creature do you want to inspect?"
"The jurgles." Lorien-as-Oralie blurted out. "We heard they came in a while ago and wanted to check in on them."

What? This is my first time doing something that would surely bring shame on my family. Lorien smiled at Jurek. "Thank you so much."
"My pleasure," Jurek jerked his head back at Lahke-as-Bronte "Though for him, I'm not entirely sure."
Lorien soon overlooked a valley that housed all sorts of animals. "They're beautiful."

"You said you were looking for jurgles? They seem to favor the pasture over there." Jurek pointed to a field towards the setting sun. "I will accompany you to make sure nothing goes wrong."
"Very well." Lorien nodded.
Jurek slid down a hill and at the bottom he yelled, "Come one Councilors!"

Jurek led them through the fields then came to a large heard of animals. "I believe these are what you are looking for."
"And these are the jurgles?"
"Yes ma'am, they're certainly one of a kind. They can find just about anyone if you give them something of value to the elf you're looking for." Jurke informed them.

"Is there anything you need Councilors?" Jurek asked.
"Yes, can we take the beasts out?" Lorien hoped she didn't bow her cover.
Jurek looked at her with a surprised expression. "Why do you need them?"
"A few members of the Council were assigned to find a particular elf that could help is with the rebels."
"I see," Jurek looked at the creatures. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take them out for a while."
"Thank you. I'll be sure to inform the Council of your cooperation." Lorien gave him a wide smile as he stalked off down the pastures.

I wouldn't doubt it. Which means we should move quickly. Lorien pulled out her brother's journal, that he had kept over the years, and held it right underneath the jurgle's snout.
The jurgle covered the journal with snot and gave it a big lick. It then jumped high into the air and created a tunnel leading down into the earth.

We do? I suppose it would be nice to Oralie a bit longer and you Bronte. Lorien transmitted as she hopped into the tunnel and fell into the darkness below.
Lorien soon landed on something hard and solid. "Ow."
She legs felt a bit bruised and swollen but other than hat she was fine.
Looking up she saw Lahke coming in after her. Moving out of the way as he went right next to her.

"I think we're on it." Lorien said as she felt the ground below her move down.
The sound of munching echoed in the tunnel.

"I think it's just moving . . . incredibly slow," Lorien formed an ice sphere in her palm. "Maybe we should give it some motivation."
"No, I won't. All this will do is give him a little chill," Lorien explained as she slowly made contact with her sphere and the jurgle's back.
It squealed and crashed into the wall, running.

"You don't sound okay." Lorien whispered.
Sometimes she wished she was a Telepath so she can find what it was that was bothering Lahke.

"I do trust you too," Lorien sighed. "It's just that . . . I'm not sure if you really do trust me."
She was scared of looking him in the face and she was, again, hiding behind her blonde hair.

"You've just seem . . . a bit distant lately. What with your father and all but I . . . I don't know." Lorien hung her head.
She wanted to take it all back but she needed to find the truth.

"You're so selfless, Lahke." Lorien could feel herself tearing up. "I just don't know how you deal with it."
Lorien smiled weakly.
The jurgle below them moved and made Lorien jumped into Lahke's arms.
She blushed madly. "Um, that was the jurgle."

Lorien laughed softly and then stared up at Lahke's face. Though it wasn't his face, she could still imagine Lahke's hair almost covering her face.
"I guess you won't be happy with me then if I told you I have the reverse elixirs?" Lorien slowly smiled as she dangled two vials of clear liquid sloshing around.
Lorien laughed. "You look just as handsome as ever."
She drank the bottle and found herself slightly shrinking and her silver hair grew back.

Lorien smiled as she kissed his cheek.
"You're fantastic." She said, resting her forehead against his.

"Why should you be sorry? If it's anyone it should be me. I didn't comfort you enough when we learned about your father." Lorien whispered.
Lorien smiled in between the kisses. She was happy and so was Lahke. If neither of them weren't, the other would know straight away. So of course they trusted each other.
Lorien returned felt the small tingle on her lips and returned the kiss.

Lorien giggled but then abruptly, the jurgle charged for the rock solid wall again and they dashed into the tunnel as it ate the rocks.
"I have no idea. I suppose we'll know it when we see it." Lorien whispered a she cuddled his chest.
"Make us search for him?" Lorien's eyes lit up. "Couldn't you just contact him on your Imparter?"
