I had an idea for a character and a plot, if anyone would be up for it (and, of course, this character is acceptable. :))

I was thinking of making the wealthy daughter of a nobleman. Her father gets a pirate arrested, so the other pirates on his ship decide to kidnap her so that her father and her betrothed will have to arrange to have him freed. They also demand a large ransom, because, you know, pirates. But before their note reaches the men, the pirate in captivity is executed. When news reaches this news reaches the pirates that have the daughter, they decide to keep her in captivity, and maybe torture her a little as revenge, but maybe they're still hoping to get money out of her father and betrothed.

Does anyone want to work on this plot with me? Is this character acceptable? I imagine her father and betrothed would also be working to find/save her so I'll probably make those as well...

Yup that's a awesome idea! I can do that with you if you want. I will have to make the character/s to Rp so if you can tell me kinda what you want there personalities to be like and stuff then I can get to making them :-)

Well, she'll need to be abducted and held hostage by pirates. So it's up to you how many of those you'd like to make, It's also up to you whether you want them all to be mean to her, or whether you want one of them to feel sympathy for her and start being nice to her after a while. I did imagine one person who insisted that they treat her well at first, since they didn't want to give the father and betrothed any reason to have their crew member executed. But maybe by the time the crew member is executed, that person has become fond of her, and so keeps trying to get them to treat her well? Maybe he, or she, could say that it's to get as much money as possible out of the two men, but really it's because they like or pity the girl? Or maybe it really is for the money. Of course, that's just an idea. They could all treat her terribly, if you wanted. I also imagined a captain who treats her sort of well at first, but mostly because she's pretty and he wants his crew member set free and the money. But then when he finds out that the guy has been executed he takes out all his rage on her and isn't above taking his temper (over anything) out on her. That's just an idea too. Their personalities are completely up to you! :)

Would you like to make either her father or betrothed? Or both? If not, I'll make them, or ask someone else to, but I'll extend the offer to you first.
Her betrothed is the son of her father's best friend. They have been promised to each other since childhood. Fortunately, her betrothed truly loves her, and is just as protective over her as her father is. Both men be overprotective over her in a way that borders on possessiveness, but it's mainly because they know that there are many who would seek to take advantage of an innocent, wealthy girl. They are moral, upright men. Since they don't know who kidnapped their beloved, they go ahead with the pirate's execution and then they're panicked when the note reaches them and decide to set sail themselves to find her, knowing she could be in terrible danger. Other than that, anyone who takes them (if someone does want to take them) is pretty much free to do what they want with their personalities, ages, backgrounds, appearances etc.

Well i think it will be more fun if one grows fond of her then i might bring in a bit of conflict between them and the betrothed and her father. Being because they he is a pirate and was one that helped abduct her and stuff. But really he ended up trying to help her. However the rest will likely be jerks lol. I wont make to many because i don't want to lose track of them so I will only make about 3 maybe 4. And the captain that sound like an amazing idea. I can be him if you want but If you also want to be a pirate then you can be him. I think i'll personally like to stick to just the pirates. Being it might get out of control if I have to many and I might lose track of them all. So you or someone else can make the father and betrothed. It might take me awhile to make the pirates but I will get onto that ASAP. We will also likely need a new thread to do this Rp so i'll have to make that and everything. All in all the sounds like an amazing idea that will be fun to do so i'm definitely in.

Okay! :) You can take the captain, and I'll take the father and betrothed. Also, what's going to happen to Oriana's maid? Is she going to be killed, or sent back to the men with a ransom note/message? I think Oriana will be walking with her maid when she's abducted, which will explain how the two men don't originally know what happened to her.

Sweet can do! I'll get onto it now. I think she will like be sent back, probably badly beaten, with the ransom note, that's how they figure out whats actually going on.

Hey Batman could i/we maybe make a new ship/thread for Dark angles idea. I would use a already made on for it but i think it will be a little mucky if I do that. I can make the thread and everything i was just making sure it was ok first. I would feel really bad making anything without at least asking first :-)

Dark Angel I was making my characters and was thinking. Do you have a preference on what the ship will be called? or can make that up. I was thinking Nightfall, Moondust, Solarstike, Crimsonflames or something along those lines.

ok can do :-) However i think i have found someone else who thinks the want to join your idea. Do you know Max/ Mace? He's thinking of joining. I said there we the role of Father, betrothed, other pirates and maybe if i step down they can be the captain but that hasn't really been decided yet. They just wanted to ask if they could join first before doing anything more :-)

Yeah sure I'm still way to attached to them to let them go also. I just wont exactly know what to do. An Au would work and be fun but I wouldn't know what to do. I'm kinda all out of ideas.

Um, I know that Luke has wanted to go look for his brother (who got captured) for like a really long time. He might just leave the ship one day without warning to go find him, and Raven might be curious and follow him. Sort of adventury quest type thing. That's just an idea though

Very good question i don't know how much help i'll be. What would Luke's plan be and where would he be trying to go. If he just randomly leaves we could just starts on the deck of the Golden sails. Or would he head to and island? those are the two things i'm thinking of.
