I saw the movie last night. I LOVED it ! JK handle us a very nice plot and new hilarious characters. I confess I was a bit worried but it proved me wrong. I'm so glad to know that 4 more movies are coming ! The magic is back !!!
I saw it last night too and the special effects were absolutely incredible (I saw it in 3D and it was amazing). The plot seemed a little weak at times but if I know JK Rowling, the next movies will elaborate on the plot and we see the full complication of everything. I loved all the characters and am excited to see more of them.
Oh my god I absolutely loved it! It was so good and wasn't 100% connected to the books as in they had things that the book didn't have but also had enough connections to make me squeal repeatedly. I really loved it!
Ikr! I loved it SO MUCH!!! My family didn't like it that much...but I enjoyed it so much! Can't wait to see it again!
I noticed that it wasn't completely accurate, but I loved the connections to the original series. They used some familiar creatures to give us a bit of comfort. Bowtruckles and Nifflers. I didn't see it in 3D, but it'd be coolest that way!
Just saw it, and it was amazing! I really feel proud to be a Hufflepuff because of Newt.

He was also my favorite!
He was also my favorite!
Just saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them! It was really great!!! The ending was so cool, how Jacob used the creatures he had met for baked items! I loved the movie!
Ravenpaw/claw~Alas! Earwax! You're just as sane as I am (-Luna Lovegood) wrote: "Ikr! I loved it SO MUCH!!! My family didn't like it that much...but I enjoyed it so much! Can't wait to see it again!"
I know, my family didn't like it as much as I did but I went back and saw it a second time with some of my friends and they loved it.

I enjoyed it, but it didn't have the same magic to it as Harry Potter does, but that could be because it wasn't based off of a book. (I'd probably would like it more if I stopped comparing it to Harry Potter.. :/) I think the plot could have been more developed. But it was good!
*SPOILER ALERT!*Overall I thought the movie was AMAZING. I saw it on opening night and the cinema was almost empty, to my surprise. I laughed through a lot of it whilst other people stared at me like I was some kind of maniac. There were lots of funny, LOL bits, most including Jacob the no-maj, who was probably my favourite Character. I liked Newt, too. It was cool to see wizards interacting with no-maj's or muggles like they did. And I love Newt's briefcase! I want to live inside that case and ride away on the stunning thunderbird and chase the niffler until he confesses and gives me all the jewels he has stolen. If you don't watch this movie it is your loss, one of the best films I've seen since Deathly Hallows part 2 (which is a huge compliment-even though I've mostly seen kids movies because of my siblings)
And I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the sequel!!
4.5/5 stars.
It was excellent worthy addition to HP world. Interesting to see how the different culture interact and effect the magical world. The British wizards and witches being so different to the American. Also makes me curious over the origin of the word muggle for ordinary folk. It is not as universal a term as I had thought.
The move also has the great HP quality of being watchable again and again, good news for future marathons
I have seen it for the second time today, and it was even much better, than when I saw it for the first time. It made much more sense to me. And the effects were just fantastic! ;)
It was great! I finally got to see it! The effects were just amazing and the casting was well done...Not sure how I feel about Johnny Depp though.
