Do you have an idea or suggestion to make the group better? We'd love to hear it!

These should work:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/black......"

Thanks for the corrections!

StarMan (thestarman) | 1943 comments Julie & Allison,

Should we maybe start a "Snail Tips & Tricks" topic, for posting helpful Goodreads or related things?

Several people have asked about how to post images, for example. Clicking on the (some html is ok) link above a comment window you are typing in gives the basics.

But... where do you find or store your images?

If anyone needs a free place to "host" (store) images, so you can then add them to a discussion post, here are some suggestions:

http://www.photobucket.com
https://www.flickr.com/
https://imgsafe.org/
https://postimage.org/
http://tinypic.com/
https://www.google.com/photos/about/

You can also try copying/pasting an image link (URL) directly from an existing website (or an image you find via Google search, etc.). But be aware that:

1) Although the majority of websites don't care, you might be violating copyright by making "their" photo appear here. Give credit or a link back to the original site if possible, or ask permission. I sometimes forget to to this. Bad StarMan.

2) The original web page you linked to could change at any time (and your photo link would no longer work here). Therefore, using an image hosting site like the ones above is safer. They usually keep your images stored for a very long time.

Julia (juliace) Hello All - what about a "currently reading" folder for anyone who may not want to set up a challenges folder, but still wants to share what they are reading....

We do have some "What are you reading for [month / year]" posts, which you can find under
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

but consolidating them into 1 general "What are you currently reading?" is an idea to consider :) I'll leave that up to Julie & Allison, since I'm new at this whole co-moderator thing.

StarMan (thestarman) | 1943 comments I just wanted to say that it's fun to visit this group after a few days away from the computer, and see all the fun discussions and polls, member book reviews, and more waiting for me to explore... and all the new members, too ;)

Thanks, everyone, for being book lovers and Book SNAILS... and to Allison and Julie for getting the group originally started.

You and everyone else are so very welcome! Glad the group has taken off like this. It's a lot of work and dedication but it's totally worth it!
