I was wondering if we can share our instagram pictures on Goodreads. If yes, then how?

Those images must have their own location or URL on the internet. Just copy it and paste within the syntax < img src=______ >. That should work.

I am afraid you can not post image directly from insta. because they do not allow download hence there is not direct link to the image. however you can post a link to the image which can be viewed on insta. If you want to post image here, to do this you need to upload that image to use online image hosting like https://postimage.org , https://imgsafe.org and many more. And from there you can post image here.

Note: You can only post direct image link here. image link always have it's format type name in the last just like shown in the example that has .jpg in the last. It mute be like .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .png etc.
