Check out the Neuroscience shelf in our group bookshelves:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
Then, in the far right column of this listing is a link named "View Activity". That will take you to a page that includes ratings and reviews about the book by other members of this group. Reading those reviews can help you determine whether the book is basic or advanced.

The best and most relatable book on general neuroscience is probably The Accidental Mind: How Brain Evolution Has Given Us Love, Memory, Dreams, and God by David LindenAnother really good choice is V.S. Ramachandran's The Tell-Tale Brain
Michael Gazzaniga's Tales From Both Sides of the Brain is also informative. He brags quite a bit but will teach you a lot about neuroscience in a fairly relatable manner.
The Addictive Brain by Thad Polk is a truly fantastic lecture series you can buy on Audible that will give you an extremely relatable and very enjoyable lesson about the neuroscience of addiction.
Being Human: Life Lessons from the Frontiers of Science and Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers, both by Robert Sapolsky, are fantastic.
Mistakes were Made but Not by Me by Carol Tavris isn't neuroscience per se but is one of the most relatable books on how fallible our brains are and why.
Is there any popular science book on fluids and its behaviour. I couldn't find any. Hoping for suggestions. Thanks in advance.
I don't have a book specifically on fluids but there is a great popular book that explains in simple layman's language many of the fluid equations:- The Secret Life of Equations The 50 greatest equations and how they work - see https://www.amazon.com.au/Secret-Life... eg Navier Stokes Equation - p96, Cauchy Stress Tensor p 122, The Heat Equation p80 and the Wave Equation p86 - having majored in maths at University I was used to doing problems but this book explains what you are really doing!

Seems like I needed this book for a long time.
Just finished a book on this subject, which I enjoyed: The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons: The History of the Human Brain as Revealed by True Stories of Trauma, Madness, and Recovery, by Sam Kean.

Thanks & Keep Reading..!!
