I've not heard of that one, but it sounds interesting. I second Hotel du Lac.

Pretty sure this is the exact same comment I left last time (can't believe it's been a month already!) but I will nominate The Inheritance of Loss and second The Remains of the Day and White Tiger :)
Mybookinggreatblog wrote: "God of small things I need to read that!!"Our group has posted at the top of this message the books we've already been through. This book is on that list. You may nominate a Man Booker Prize winner we have yet to read and which has not already been nominated. You may use two 'seconds' to vote for a book which has been nominated in the comments above. Glad for your participation.

As always, you are able to nominate one book and up-vote two others. Please DO NOT nominate a book that you've seen someone already nominate in this thread. Instead, you can give it 1 of your 2 upvotes so I know that you are also interested in reading it. Of course you can only nominate past Man Booker winners (not books that were short or long-listed).
In the past we have read the following, so they are not eligible for December:
-The God of Small Things
-The Blind Assassin
-The Line of Beauty
-The Luminaries
-The Narrow Road to the Deep North
-A Brief History of Seven Killings (last year's winner)
-The Sellout (this year's winner)
-The Sense of an Ending
I'll start the nomination process by nominating Anne Enright's The Gathering which won in 2007.
Nominations will close on November 29th @ midnight PST. Winner will be announced on the 30th.
