It has been said during the lead-up to the 2016 election that Sinclair Lewis' study in fascism coming to America could prove to be prophetic. Now that the election is over, and Trump the victor, can it be said that he was right on the money? Has fascism actually come to America in the form of Donald Drumpf?

It's an interesting read.
Sinclair Lewis' prophetic novel "It can't happen here" warns us that elements of fascism already exists in the dark corners of our society ;lying in wait , ready to mug our democracy. If you are one who pays attention to whats going on in this country this is a must read. Nelson
I read it last year as a result of listening to the "Trumpcast" podcast from Slate. While it is obviously dated, I found the merging of politics with entertainment to be extremely prescient. I echo the others that if you haven't read it yet, it is a useful read.
