Welcome! If you're reading this, that hopefully means you have joined the group, and that makes me super excited!
For any of you that don't know who the hell I am, my name is Daughter of the Rain and Snow, but feel free to call me Abigail or any other nickname that makes sense :) I'm 19 years old and am an archaeology major(currently in between subfields). I have two pups, Remi and Colt. They are technically my brother's dogs, but they love me more, so whatever. I love Florence + the Machine, hence the obscure lyric name. I have been writing since I was 9 years old, and while most of it is total bullshit, I like to think I sometimes have a decent idea. This group is one of those ideas that I think are halfway decent, so bare with me while I try to work out some of the kinks.
Enough of that pointless junk about me... If you guys have joined this group, I really do appreciate your activity and creativity. As I said I've been writing for a long while, and I really do enjoy it, but sometimes my ideas just aren't as fun if I'm writing them out alone. I think we might have the start of a pretty interesting story, so you guys make yourself at home and happy writing!

Oh yikes! Don't worry too much about that. As you can see, the place is still largely under construction, so no rush ^_^

Life happens, that's okay! It won't be too long, but if you can get back sooner I wouldn't complain either ^_^ I'll be adding stuff every once and a while throughout the week, so if you could give me some feedback when you get the chance, that's will be great!

Hello all! I'm Erin, and I'm a 20 year old music major who's been playing French horn for half her life. I love snowy days, hot chocolate, and sleeping in, particularly on snowy days with a mug of hot chocolate nearby. I have a seven month old springer spaniel pup named Gracie who is quite possibly the prettiest puppy ever, and I will happily talk about her nonstop if you let me. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello, I'm Ji Mei. I have been on Goodreads for a long time and I've always loved to read and to write and I hope that my writing has improved since I came to this website. I'm 22, I'm currently majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis. I'm generally terrible at introducing myself, but I guess you can say I like a lot of indie bands and I love anime, manga, video games, and such. Overall, I'm a nerd through and through.

Thanks! I'm glad you thought to invite me. Many rp groups I've been in have died, but maybe this is a chance to start up again.

Yeah, a bunch of the one's I've been have faded out, so I really don't have a whole lot of great expectations for this group, but I really needed to get writing and just creating the group really helped. I hope rping goes well so this place is even semi-successful!

I know the feeling. It is the same with this medieval group I made. It died out so quickly. Now the only thing I'm doing with that story line is a one x one with a few of my characters.

Hey DD! I'm glad you joined :) Don't worry about the on/off thing, I can be pretty bad at it too, it can just be helpful for some people who are collaborating or just letting people know they're around in general!

Hey my babes <3 I dunno if any/many of you know me, but I'm Demi! I'm the resident coffeholic and shutterbug. I love my caffeine as it brings me life, and I'm super chill except when I get tired or too sugary and then I'm a spastic human puppy in the chat that uses too many faces and caps ;) I've been in this group since the beginning when Abbey and I did stuffs but since I'm a lazy-ass turd I disappeared into the black hole that is my life. Now that I have a functioning computer though and I'm on winter break I have reappeared, shazam! This group looks great and honestly you guys have done wonders with it, I'll try not to screw anything up! ;D So yeah, I'm a junior in high school who's in band so I might ramble about music (or tbh anything else, idk how to shut up as proven here), and I love tons of things including photography and travel and food. So yeah. I'm sure you'll learn much more about my quirks and strangeness.
p.s. I love dragons if you can't tell

@Abigail: Isn't she the cutest puppy!? ^^ The pic of her as a puppy is when we just got her and the one with the Christmas bow was her second Christmas and she was sleeping after all the excitement.

She is just precious! She looks so soft!

She is! But sometimes she can be so mean and she would walk away when I try to pet her.

Man, those are some tough decisions! Maybe hold off on the dad? Get a variety of characters with completely different story lines? Totally up to you, but it might help you decide :)

Hm, well, that's true. I bet if I tried to make the dad, no one would probably interact with him. :/

The problem usually happens is that I make a bunch of characters, but usually some of them end up all alone. Maybe I'll wait a bit to see what other characters people make. Still, I want to claim them, but I have to do the equal gender thing, don't I?

You can go ahead and claim them, but yes, try to keep in mind the equal gender thing! If there is more than a five character lead for female characters, though, I'll let you make an extra guy or two if you're interested. If you really want them for a specific collaboration, I might allow that as well, as long as it doesn't tip the gender scales :)

For now, I would just plan them out, because I don't want you too make so many awesome characters that you have nothing to do with them!

Ah, well, I'm used to making male characters. Arguably I say I'm even a little better at rping them than female characters, oddly enough. But I will sit on my fingers for now since I don't know what I'd be doing with any female characters at the moment. :D

Sorry, my bed was calling to me. ;) I mainly play the flute, I've been at it for seven years. ^_^ I can also play the trumpet, trombone, and percussion, although I can't play much on them xD I mostly improvise. But yeah! I'm a floutist. Flutist? Floutist? Eh, whatever. I play the flowery 'girly' instrument XD which is pretty amusing 'cus I'm not flowery at all lmao

@Demi, no worries! I completely understand the pull of a bed :) As for instruments, I've been playing French horn for ten years, which I guess makes me a hornist? I also played trumpet for a very short amount of time, and I do some occasional mellophone playing.

Hi all! I'm Emily, a 19 year-old college kid. I'm in my second year at school and, after a few missteps and struggles, have finally put myself on (what I hope is) the right path. I'm an English major and have been writing creatively for honestly as long as I can remember. I love animals and have experience working at a dog kennel and vet clinic. I also love music and singing. With school being so stressful lately, I've been too anxious to write so I'm really looking forward to being a member of this group and hope to get some of my old creative juices flowing again! This is also the first active group I've been apart of on Goodreads for probably over a year, so I am really looking forward to getting back into the game here. Thanks for the invite Abs!!
