I'm excited to get back to normal and start reading with the group again. I'm definitely going to participate. I've had some problems with ill elderly parents. I hope to be back to reading soon. Thank you to the Moderators who do all of the work keeping this group going!
I do love the Book Viper challenges. 2016 was a tough year for me and by the end i gave up on all my reading challenges and focussed on just reading what I fancied.
So, instead of over committing im going in for 14 books (2 rows) as a starting point and may do more.

I'm committing to 7 (1 row) I'm determined to not buy any more books so these are books that are on my kindle (I may add more if I look at my physical books).
I think this will be good for me as it will make me read different authors and maybe different genres too
'B'ook 'B'uster. For me, this challenge could have been "Read all the books you currently own with author names beginning with the letter B". That would have been plenty!
About a third of the way through Adventures in Stationery: A Journey Through Your Pencil Case for my W. Interesting so far.
Go on then. X and Z are left. I don't want to do Emile Zola as I had nightmares for a long time after Therese Racquin years ago. Help.
I read Sky Burial: An Epic Love Story of Tibet by Xinran for X, it's fairly short and quite readable. For Z, a book by Anne Zouroudi, haven't read any by her yet but understand these are mysteries set in Greece.
Have ordered a Zouroundi from my library plus a Xinran, although not the one you suggested as not in Cornwall. Thank you.

So busy reading that I didn't realise I finished the challenge, about 3 books ago. I never finish challenges so was probably so amazed I forgot. Next challenge is books recommended by Jason. After the numbers challenge of course.
Finished! Great challenge Paul, found lots of interesting books. Now looking forward to the 2018 challenge....
Congratulations Pamela. I have a couple of ideas I am am working on. Just need to know if people want to do one next year
I'm struggling, I'm doing non fiction books but keep selecting authors beginning with L. Can you add more L's to the board?
There is a free space from another L Jason. What are you struggling with? I am sure I could find some
I think I've read enough to make it across, just trying to read as many different ones as possible, see how many different routes I can make.
Had a look and if I read Between the Sunset and the Sea: A View of 16 British Mountains which I have on my Kindle I will have finished this challenge.
I would have liked the opportunity to join some of these challenges without having to put the numbers in. I go through periods where I read voraciously and others where I don't read for months and months. All dependent on my health (physical and mental) and the amount of work I have on. January will be a great time for a book club because it's lonely and nothing is going on, so hope we will all have a great book lined up. I like to be a part of something and see what everyone else is doing but don't want to set myself up for failure. I've copied out the Blockbuster list and put in all the books I've read start to finish this year, not very many, but there you go. There is the possibility of completing a line though, dependent on the last names of the authors of the books I've yet to read. :)
