Not my favorite but I do like it much more now when trying it, compared to when I was a teen. I'm on the second season and keep meaning to get back to it. I like the characters, especially Perry White, but was bummed Lex had to leave so early in the show.
I thought the show as awesome when it first came on and I stayed with it for the whole thing. OF course it was always the "will they, wont they" kind of thing.I thought he made a great Superman, and the costume was really good with a nice "S" emblem and a good size also.
I didn't really want them to get married, though of course we all knew it was going to happen because of the comics history, still, for so long they were just very close, I think the series would have continued to go on if they hadn't gotten married.
I was watching this with a friend of mine and they're like, he flies so SLOW in this show lol. The effects are cheesy but there's something fun about it. This group made me continue where I left off on the second season today.

It's funny, but I know what you mean - the group made me break out Smallville Season 5 for an episode...
And I'm glad I did - didn't realize how much I missed that show.

One of the funniest things they added with this show was Perry White's character. I love the actor Lane White for him, but his fascination with Elvis is really what won me. Nice touch that came out of nowhere. It seems to be an ongoing joke.Dean Cain isn't what I picture when I think of Superman, but he did an okay job.
Just started watching this through netflix. It's a lot of fun. Like the slow build of the mythology, the cast and the romantic chemistry between the leads.
Special effects show their age and boy is it a 90's show, but it has a nice ( slightly goofy) charm.
Though could the woman playing Cat Grant be any more over the top...?
Yikes! Forget Lex Luthor, Superman needs to be afraid of her.

I like it too but I have it unfinished. Keep meaning to get back to it. It's cute in a fun and light way. Definitely not my favorite version of Superman but I don't think that was the point of the show anyway, so it works
I'm in the second season watching this again since I've got DC Streaming for a bit. I forgot how cute it was. Perry is a favorite. I think I appreciate the show more now that I'm a bit older.
Just watched the season 2 Christmas episode....wow!That was an incredible mix of very sweet and an acid trip of strange.
Written by Dean Cain!!
Not written well, but I gotta say, I wasn't bored.

Er, I don't think I've seen that one yet. Will have to look it up.
According to IMDB, I see what you mean on this plot description. I'm almost scared of this episode now :0)
"After Mr. Schott is fired from his toy making job, he decides to get revenge and make a lot of money by creating Atomic Space Rats, which spray a substance that causes everyone to be more greedy. It also makes adults, including Clark, act like children."
Maybe it will help me get more into the Christmas spirit this year.
it is insane, but I think the best Christmas episodes should be goofy, festive and fun.You won't be bored watching it.

This show is a solid cast, trying to do their best with some crazy uneven writing.
Yes the writing is a bit uneven and of course there's the budget, but the cast did well. It's light-hearted fun
