Autobiography/Biography lovers! discussion

Hoping someone can help here. This isn't a specific book I'm after but a specific subject. I'm looking for a quality biography/autobiography/memoir of a Navy member that would appeal to a 19 year old young man. Ideally fairly modern, ideally an Australian, ideally a Christian. Not a deal-breaker if those can't be found though! I don't know if there's anything out there that fits the bill but maybe someone here knows of something that would be good? All suggestions gratefully accepted!
