Contemporary YA discussion

I started a new post here, Lena, if that's okay.

I wanted to recommend Katie McGarry's books for anyone liking contemporary romance. I've read and and loved them both. McGarry's writing has a gritty, realistic feel, and more than once she's left a lump in my throat.

Did she write Crash Into Me as well?

Crash Into Me, Take Me On (not out yet), Crossing the Line & Red at Night too. I love her books.

For fans of Katie McGarry I would recommend Hopeless, Losing Hope & Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover.

Also similar and equally awesome are Left Drowning and Flat Out Love by Jessica Park.

Thanks, Shannon. I have Katie McGarry's other books on my to-read list and was wanting to find something similar.

I just downloaded Not sure when I'll get to it, but it was free on Barnes & Noble Nook.

Oh, I really wanted to read Hopeless, but I haven't gotten to it. Heard it's good.

I love Katie McGarry! I'm sort of hooked with her stories and the writing style is just smooth.
