I, Robot
(SF, 9 short stories)
Removing this one, since it was chosen separately for January BOTM 2017:

Poison Study

Why Not Me?
I just recently ordered "All The Light We Cannot See." The rest have been on my to-read list for a while now, but I have yet to purchase them. "Why Not Me?" sounds hilarious. We all could use a good laugh, right? :)

And I usually avoid anything that looks like chick-lit or celebrity comedy! I couldn't resist a 50 cent bargain, and it turned out fine.

Amen. Same here. I am fascinated by how people get swept in by cults. The psychology of it is intriguing. I wouldn't join if my life depended on it.
Agreed! I think most people are fascinated by that stuff, because of the psychological effects and whatnot. I wouldn't ever join a cult either, of course, but it is definitely interesting to see how it all started, and why it grew, because there's so many factors there at work. The leader has to be charismatic enough that people actually believe them, and cults don't just start out, either. They grow over time, so by the time people realize it's a cult, it's usually too late.Leah Remini's book has been on my to-read shelf for awhile, but Beyond Belief looks interesting as well!

Yes! I watched the debut episode but missed last week's episode. A 3rd one airs tonight on A&E. It's an 8-part series. You might enjoy it.

I have read both Mindy Kaling books; she's pretty funny but not hilarious IMO. Overall, I enjoyed the books.

On my TBR. Good choice. Shall I add it to the March BOTM poll for you to vote on?
