Tr1sha | 283 comments I enjoyed this book. There were sections devoted to different characters, with their stories cleverly brought together again towards the end of the book. I will read more by this author.

I enjoyed this book, when I read it awhile ago. I have read a number of books by Arnold Bennett, but I think this is my favourite.
