Added!

BTW, speaking of looking bad...have you seen this unintentional PSA against plastic surgery....Kirk Douglas and his wife, Anne:

jb Byrkit (jbbyrkit) | 2035 comments I think Bill Clinton might be up for an "accident" or heart attack.

message 6: by Lena (new)

Lena | 2683 comments Oh my. The seem to have been cut by the same knife. Could there be any faker stranger nose? Plastic surgery nose is so much obvious and unattractive.

I'll go out on a limb again and say Lindsay Lohan goes completely off the rails this year.

Ken B | 6812 comments jennbunny wrote: "I think Bill Clinton might be up for an "accident" or heart attack."

Added at lucky number 13.

I have a feeling a few more Clinton associates may also have untimely deaths this year.

Lena | 2683 comments Joan Rivers should be on an alumni list, her I miss.

Lena | 2683 comments Lol Jennbunny, guess Melania is not long for this world either. I wouldn't give her longer than 3.5 years. Tragic, tragic, tragic...

Ken B | 6812 comments Lena wrote: "Joan Rivers should be on an alumni list, her I miss."

Joan Rivers died in 2014 and we didn't have her on our 2014 list. You win some. You lose some.

All good adds and all holdovers from the 2016 list. Maybe we will have better luck in 2017.

I'm going with 102 yo Norman Lloyd again this year.

And I think the stress of having to give up his businesses (if indeed he really does) and having to deal with the actual stresses and hard work of the presidency will do in Trump.

Ken B | 6812 comments Matthew wrote: "Beverly Cleary is 100 . . . so . . ."

Matthew wrote: "Also - does Jerry Lee Lewis count with Jerry Lewis?"

Added and added, just in case. Need to make sure we have all of our Lewises covered.

Added Lloyd and am avoiding the other. Don't know the legal ramifications of including either a sitting president or president-elect on this type of list and really don't care to find out. I've avoided any contact with the Secret Service for the first 48 1/2 years of my life and that's a streak I would like to continue. LOL!

message 18: by Justin (new)

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Warren Buffett

You won't touch Trump so I figure some of the other old rich white guys were ripe for the picking lol.

I'll match your Buffet and Murdoch and raise a George Soros...THE trifecta of rich white guys if it goes down.

I understand, Ken.
I think everyone understands this list isn't about encouraging harm to anyone or wanting someone else to do harm to anyone else. It's simply about who we think the Grim Reaper might have his eye on.

Tommy Lasorda

That's the first surprise for me on this list. I honestly believed he died a few years ago. Added!

Ken B | 6812 comments Lena wrote: "I'll raise you the Koch Brothers to hope for a better solar powered tomorrow."

Added! But, not to seem we have anything against rich white guys, I'm adding Sulaiman Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, born 1920.

Awwww! The other half of the Apple Dumpling Gang. Don Knott's died in 2006, back when we had decorum and before the Death Watch List.

I think he's the last remaining cast member of The Beverly Hillbillies. I still love that show.

Yep! Added!

Buddy Ebsen - Jed Clampett - died July 6, 2003
Irene Ryan - Granny - died April 26, 1973
Donna Douglas - Elly May - died January 1, 2015

Guess Baer inherited all the Clampett millions. So this goes with the rich white guys theme we have running this year.

message 41: by Myst (new)

Myst | 408 comments I nominate Dave Strader. He's one of the play by play guys for the Dallas Stars who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer which is apparently treatable, but not curable. Wikipedia states the prognosis generally is 6 months to 5 years.

I hope he doesn't go, but aggressive cancer doesn't really bode well.

He's seemingly doing better than someone I knew. Of course the person I knew wasn't treated well by their gf (she didn't refill necessary prescriptions! and she acted like he should be able to cook for/get meals himself when he was 3/4 blind and could hardly move 20 feet without needing to sit down). But he was also stage 4 when diagnosed...
