Ah, great book! I read it once many years ago, but I bet not a lot of it was absorbed properly back then.
I got this book in the mail earlier this week! My username on Lichess is flaxl. I've never read a chess book before, this is going to be exciting! :)
I'm fptan on lichess. I'm a sub-1200 player, but stubborn and ready to improve. I've had this book for a few months and love it. Thanks for setting this group up. Very excited!
Awesome! How are you guys progressing ? I added your names, but If I missed out anyone, just let me know.
Happy reading :)

Welcome to our first book discussion thread. This thread is dedicated to reading the book - Logical Chess Move by Move - Irving Chernev! As part of this learning experiment, we are going to be using Goodreads to maintain the community and share our progress, and Lichess's study feature - more like a shared live chess database - to share our discoveries, lessons, ideas, notes and doubts!
Are you ready to start with the book ?
Comment below with your lichess nickname, so I could add you to the book study page on lichess.
