I'm sorry that I will be unable to release Book 3 this month. I think most of you agree that you would prefer a good book rather than one that is quickly written. Book 3 is going to be a bit longer than expected, but I think few will complain. Hopefully, you will find it to be just as exciting and intriguing as the first two.
(If you commence cabbage throwing, please toss in a bit of corned beef and soda bread so I can make a meal of it.)
This may sound like a silly question.....but what is Soda bread?

The ingredients of traditional soda bread are flour, bread soda, salt, and buttermilk. The buttermilk in the dough contains lactic acid, which reacts with the baking soda to form tiny bubbles of carbon dioxide. Other ingredients can be added such as butter, egg, raisins, or nuts.

Soda Bread is traditional in Ireland--so it would go with corned beef and cabbage, I presume! I don't think I've ever had any... but it sounds good.

Summary:
No date for release of Book 3 yet, but over 400 pages written so far...
Has posted a list of novels that are recommended.

Hello Everyone,
I appreciate the encouragement and support I’ve received from so many of you. I haven’t been able to respond to everyone because I’ve been busy writing.
I’ll be finishing the draft of Book 3 in the next few weeks, and then it will be on to review and editing.
I’ll let you know when I have a better idea of the release dates.

King's Dark Tidings Book 3 is currently in editing. The ebook is scheduled for release in September!
Podium Publishing will begin audiobook prep-work in September for recording with the amazing Nick Podehl in October. Podium is estimating release of the audiobook in January.

Thats good news! I have been keeping my thoughts and theories bottled up so the audio fans can catch up and join in with their own ideas and discussions and not spoiling anything for them. Also looking forward to Nicks performance.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the cover for book 4? I loved McGrath's first three covers, this one though just doesn't capture me.Of course I am super excited about book 4...I need some character development and some more answers!!! :)
Yeah, this cover for book 4 doesn't have the mystery and intrigue of the other 3 books and therefore it doesn't attract me to read it. I do hope the book lives up to KEL's previous record.
This cover definitely tells me that this book will be more Book 3 than Books 1 and 2 :(
Is there any word on the release date for book 4?

NEWS: Spotted at the San Diego Comic Con-- on Publisher's Row-- copies of Fate of the Fallen (ARCs, I think. I usually go to ComicCon, but am skipping this year, but a friend was kind and snagged one for me).

Next week, I will be in New York City at the BookExpo/BookCon being held at the Javits Center. For those of you who have never attended, I’m told BookExpo is for people in the writing/publishing business, and BookCon is geared more toward readers. Here is my upcoming schedule:

It seems like there's going to be "a King's Dark Tidings Tale" called A Mage of No Renown, coming next... Listed as KDT Book 0. Says it's 1/3 done.
