Sarah (saruuh) | 9 comments Looking for a few books that has a heroine with high IQ.
It can be anything from Young Adult, Contemporary, Fantasy. Any genre really, I like to read about heroines who use their brain for cool things.

Thanks

MJ | 1622 comments Bronwyn's Stand maybe? She has a high iq and uses her brain throughout, but it's not a 'she a genius' read if that's what you're looking for.

Many of Tamora Pierce's books would also follow this pattern. Her books are loved by many gifted girls.

If your defination of "genius" includes females who are geniuses in fields other than the sciences, you might want to try Dragonsong. The MC is a musical genius.

MJ | 1622 comments I have the irresistible urge to add Kiss of Fire to this thread, but I don't think it was about the h being super smart but she still saved the day... so maybe I'm mixing up my threads? If so, sorry, and ignore :/

I second this recommendation. Flavia de Luce is an adorable, intelligent budding little chemist who has a habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and solving the case because of all of it.

While Peewee isn't the MC, she is the main secondary character, and she definitely qualifies as genius. Have Space Suit—Will Travel
