Hendrix stared at the picture of his mother on the floor. When would the Council let her come back? This is why he should've joined Neverseen. It would solve all his problems... but Ontari? He could not leave her.

He sighed.

Suddenly, Hendrix heard a knock at the door. Who was it? He felt a surge of panic. Who? He quickly shoved it down and went to go open the door.

Hendrix opened the door. His shaky hand gripped the doorknob, ready for people to scorn him. But when they didn't he turned to see: Onari!

"Onari!" he exclaimed, a bit too joyous.

Nobody {Jill will leave you lonely, dying in a filthy ditch} wrote: "Onari bit her nails and shook her head. This was crazy. She turned around to leave. She would just send Hendrix a note."

"No...no...no...OH! " Hendrix caught himself before he could mumble. Not a very good first impression.

"Yes, I am fine." Hendrix smiled, a little too cheerfully. " Why are you here?" he said, resettling his nerves.

" Oh... no.. it's fine! Just fineee..." Hendrix muttered curses under his breath. He was scaring her away, calm down.

" Talk about what?" Hendrix asked curiously. " You know... you are looking fine today."

"Oh." Hendrix said trying to sound innocent. "Do you mind if we just go and take a walk?"

"Not that... I am not implying... this is SO not weird..this is not a date...or a stalker motion... just a get-together... wait... a play-date...no just a WALK." Hendrix fumbled to find the words.

" I don't know. " he mumbled. " I hope she is alright."

"Well... Let's get on with other stuff." Hendrix took a deep breath. " Well, Onarfi-um-Onatri-um-Onari, we'd should start kis..um walllkkkiiinngg. Right!"

" Yup. Nothing is WRONG." Hendrix said. He put his hand on her shoulder and started showing her places in his yard.

"Just my dad." Hendrix sighed."But he is struggling to keep up with all the grief."

"Aww... it's fine," Hendrix said,staring at the ground. He tried to cheer up.

"Well, at least I've got you-um sorry- you're here to help me get over it!" he said, forcing a smile.

"Wait... what?" Hendrix was very confused. "I dunno. Say, I was wondering...could you... if you could stop...by-um-next...tomorrow-I mean, tomorrow."

"J-I-T-T-E-R-Y, no...no...no....um," Hendrix coughed up. "That's a yes?" he smiled, surprised.

"Great!"Hendrix exclaimed. But then his mind returned to his mother, his father almost broken. Anger sweeped into his mind and deep creases and frowns folded onto his face. He clenched his fists.

((Hey... what if something crazy happened when they were walking like Neverseen pops up or Hendrix talks about it?))

Hendrix heard Onari's voice in the back of his mind. "Have you ever considered that the Council may not be doing what's right or what's enough?" he asked her.

" They put my mother in Exile, nearly broke my father! That's what's wrong!"

"The Neverseen." he spoke softly now, but not too so as only Onari could hear him. "I am considering joining them, but...." he looked at Onari in the eyes.

"You."

"Nothing. " Hendrix quickly covered the slip. "I refused the offer but I don't think they're going to let me go easily."

He spotted a rainbow of light coming from the tree a couple yards down. What was it?

" Back away, Onari!" Hendrix shouted. " I think someone is trying to light leap."

Suddenly, Hendrix felt a dread crawling up his shoulder.
"The Neverseen." he said softly.

"NO!" Hendrix shouted. Then lowering his voice he said, " Sorry, Onari, but they are too dangerous for you."

"To recruit me. Why else? " Hendrix replied, putting a hand to stop her. He still didn't want Onari to get hurt.

"Oh those guys." Hendrix shrugged. "I dunno. Heard rumors here and there saying they're busy with ogres....blah...blah."

"Noooo...." Hendrix replied a bit too sudden. " I might need backup."

Suddenly a figure emerged in the rainbow of light, he was wearing a black cape with inmistakable sign of an eye glinting on the arm.

Ontari sighed, "Alright alright... Do you want me to go? So you can deal with the Neverseen?""

((Hey Abby says she can meet us in the Neutral Territories like in here: Ok, but Auriel isn't in Exillium, so she could just be randomly in the neutral territories, you guys could spot her, or something.

"What do you want with me?"shouted Hendrix.

Hendrix repeated the question.

"Yes, good idea!" Hendrix whispered back. They ran back towards the house.

"He's still following us!" Hendrix shouted, shooting a glance over his shoulder.

"Try to drive him off." Hendrix muttered. "Left, Right, ok... sweetie just a little left."

Well, I kinda told....them." Hendrix said between breaths as they stopped for a second.

"Oh... because I was interested then... left...right...that was before... you came." Hendrix looked back. "This guy called Ruy asked me. "

" Oh..." Hendrix caught his slip. "Nothing. You just opened my mind with words that flew."

" Yeah... But that was with..." Hendrix told her.

((Don't tell me I have to write a paragraph/essay, I already have enough at school))

Hendrix explained the whole story to her while they ran, leaving out only the fact that he loved her and what he thought about her and why. " And... that's Ruy I think who is chasing us." he said, sneaking a peek.

Hendrix leaned beside her. "Me too." He looked around, no one seemed to be there.

"Really?" Hendrix said softly. "Did..di-did I tell you how you're my -only-friend here?

"NO...YES...MAYBE...yes?" Hendrix wasn't sure. He was angry, yes but would he really go that far?
