I know that a lot of groups are having a special folder for this topic and I think that's great! I would love to know more about you members in the group, so to get a better connection with each other... just write :)

Examples of questions you can answer: Name, age, country/state, favorite book, favorite genre etc.

Hi Haley! If you like books that causes emotional explosions inside of you then you should absolutely read Looking for Alaska! In my opinion, it's not as good as TFiOS but the book will make you laugh and cry and omg it's so good..!

message 11: by shelly (new)

shelly (michellenia) Hi guys my name Michelle, I'm 19 from Chicago. TFIOS is definitely one of my favorites..I read it for the first time a year ago and it's been the only book to ever make me cry! I just saw the movie and I definitely think it lived up to the book..I'm so happy for John Green! If your looking for something else to read by him I suggest Looking for Alaska or Paper Towns (which is also being turned into a movie!)

The Fault in Our Stars has to be my favourite book. I've read a lot if good books but nothing was able to make me so happy yet so sad. Anyway can't wait to join your discussion!

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Hiya! I'm Emmy and I'm from the USA. My favorite book is probably either The Fault In Our Stars or the Divergent trilogy. I love Young Adult fiction. I thought the Hunger Games was okay (i only read the first one and the beginning of catching fire). But it was not nearly as good as Divergent which i absolutely loved. I don't know if anyone else feels this way but i just hate when people say divergent is a copy of the Hunger Games because they are totally different. Thx for reading! :)

message 23: by Maddy (new)

Maddy Simms | 13 comments Replying to |Emmy| I don't think it's a copy it's just they have minor things in common like in hunger games there's districts and in divergent there's factions... Also there's a war and rebellious stuff happening in both series in the hunger games and in divergent... + some other stuff but in reality they are completely different.

message 24: by Sarah (new)

Sarah D A lot of young adult dystopian books are very similar and have basically the same plot. A girl lives in a society which she loves until she meets a boy and then sees the wrong. She joins a rebellion and there is usually a love triangle
