¨Shelter" has been really good thus far. I am about halfway through it right now. Mickey, the main character is still going through some tough times, between his new school and his mom that just got out of rehab. He is determined to find his missing girlfriend, and find out the truth about his dad. He has already attempted to get in touch with ¨Bat lady¨, who appears to know something interesting about his dad. When Mickey met with Ema at the bat lady´s house it kind of freaked me out. They both were in a place they should not be at, and almost got in major trouble for it. Mickey showed great courage, but also great stupidity when he went inside of bat lady´s house while no one was answering. I don't think I could ever do something that crazy. Overall this has been a good book so far, and I cannot wait to find out the truth about if his dad is alive and where his girlfriend may have disappeared to.

Seems suspenseful. I agree with you. I see movies all the time when people just walking into unknown places or do crazy things like that and that is definitely not my personality.

I would never do that! I'm way too big of a chicken to walk in like that... takes guts. I love these types of mysteries, where you get to find out where everyone went.
