4A Independent Reading discussion

In the first section of Breaking Beautiful, I believe we are introduced to some key characters. Allie, the main character , is a teenage girl. Her boyfriend, Trip had recently died in a car accident. From the way her relationship is first described, you would think that it is a picture-perfect relationship, such as something you would see in a fairy-tail. Although, as time goes by, it starts to become clear that not everything within their relationship is as perfect as I thought. When Allie returns back to school, after the accident, things seem strange. A girl who used to despise Allie, is suddenly her biggest supporter. I am not sure how to feel about Hannah because I know the way alot of teenage girls work. I am a teenage girl. Alot of girls will pretend to be your friend and support you through rough times, but sometimes they do it because they are more interested in the gossip, than your well being. I am wondering if Hannah is doing this to get back at hannah for teh past, or if she actually cares.

This seems like a very interesting book. I can relate to some of the things you wrote about. I like the way you compared your life to the book. I'll definitely have to read this book.
