Chapters 1 - 5

I've never read this book OR seen the movie before! So I'm really excited to start this!

Wow I highly recommend two versions of the movie. The versions with Winona Ryder and June Alleyson. I liked the Katherine Hepburn one but not so much as the other two.

Not sure if anyone else is reading this with me. I've gotten this far and I'm immensely enjoying my 30th+ time re-read of this beautiful story. My favorite sister is Jo but I relate most to Beth. I am a pianist and I'm somewhat shy even though I have many friends. I relate to her in other ways too but I don't want to spoil the story for those who haven't read it. I just really like the family in this story. Some people have compared it as the American Pride and Prejudice but I disagree. I feel it's a story of its own.

Man, things have been so busy I have not had time to pick this up! I've literally just read chapter 1, and I did enjoy it :) I'm hoping to get to it over the Christmas weekend!
