Oh, okay. Here it is. I am so sorry about the spoilers, Zoha. I had no idea other people were following the discussion.

Ashur claims that he is the phoenix, resurrected to save the world. So far, I've scoffed and rolled my eyes at that. Did you buy it?

And why is it that everytime the Kindred are mentioned, a new piece of information magically pops up that has absolutely no connection with what we've previously learned? This Damen guy for instance. Okay so now HE was the one who was Eva's enemy?

I didn't buy it a bit tbh! But what else explanation is there for his resurrection??? Phoenix thing is kinda ridiculous! :/

And I agree, Felix is hillarious! I like his character so much.
Also I am enjoying Jonas+Magnus possible bromance way too much. Okay! bromance might not be the right word.... um their sarcasm ??? witty dialogues?? I don't knw what to call it!! :D

No. I believe the curse is genuine or at least it is genuine to some extent...... I love the right amount of romance in this book!
I was afraid that now my OTP is canon, they might turn into love sick puppies but shukker hy it didn't happen! :D

Let's see what this "curse" leads to.
Main wo phoenix wala iss liye buy nahi kar rahi keunke Ashur said that he took a resurrection potion right? Like Amara was given as a child. So what makes him think that HE is the one going to save the world? Amara was resurrected before him maybe she'll turn good or something. I didn't understand his reasoning.
I have read about phoenixes actually because you know, HARRY POTTER. It's a very important bird, remember that.

To be honest, where Magnus is involved, I look forward to his conversations and chemistry with everyone. Jonas, Felix, Ashur and now Tanar (ugh). Btw, how gross that Amara first went for Magnus and is now with his father. She might not have any choice at the time but that doesn't make it any less yucky.

I know that Nerissa is manipulating her but that suggests that Amara is, you know, bisexual or whatever. That makes two people in her family. Her and Ashur. (hide spoiler)]

Oh yeah! I guess, Crimson dagger is tells us about how Magnus receive his scar by his father since it is from 7 year old Magnus's POV. Still looking forward to read it. :D

TBH, I don't care a bit about Kraeshian sibling!!! >_< They are annoying as hell even Ashur with all his mysterious mumbo jumbo resurrection theories. I hope Lucia saves them all, na ky Ashur I couldn't help but think Ashur's story is going a bit melodramatic! I don't know much about Phoenix though. I haven't read HP, you know! I've watched the films but I don't remember much about the four and fifth film idk why! :D

You have forgot to mention Magnus's conversation with Gaius! They have the most interesting relationship dynamic! Tbh, I think every single character in this book is a bit yucky at some point. Amara......... I hate her! No matter how much writer want us to sympathize with her I just can't. -_-

Amara was all "this lovely girl" and "she drew away her hand a bit 'reluctantly'" so I thought maybe. But now that you've said it I think I was reading too much into that. After all she was in love with Felix a few days ago. No, it could just be that Amara admires Nerissa as a fellow strong woman.

I hate Amara too and Ashur is a dud as well but I understand Amara. Being ignored and mistreated has made her into a monster. Her conspiring grandmother certainly made her into what she is.

Yes, that point does go in the favour of the curse's validity but I have a WILD theory if you're willing to listen. ;D
So Selia knew about Gaius's feelings for Elena right? When after years her son and grandson show up with a girl who looks like Elena who is also her grandson's WIFE, she must have been surprised. Then Magnus mentions the curse and her lightning speed reasoning leads her to believe that Gaius planted that seed of doubt in Magnus and Cleo so they won't be together because it pains him so she takes it in a stride and agrees with Gaius about the curse.
Ahem. Does that make sense? Or I'm being paranoid? ;p

Yours= The squealing, melting into a mush fangirl who's just dying to read more about the OTP.
Mine= The paranoid aunty making far-fetched theories and speculations.

I don't think Jonas is gonna die. I think he is going to have a huge part in upcoming chaps and the last book.

It's so crazy to think how far we've come with the story. The poor rebels, Cleo, Nic, Magnus, everyone who once Hated Gaius now has to work with him. Must be driving Jonas nuts.
I feel like sympathizing with Amara. She wants power, yes but so did Cleo and even Magnus. She doesn't want to be oppressed anymore. I'm still curious as to how she'll treat everyone else when she gets that power. Assuming they don't kill her first, that is.
