Square In Wonderland Book Club discussion

So far I am enjoying the alternating chapters betwee Gwen's POV and Hook's POV. I know it's a retelling of Peter Pan but so many references have already been made in the first 40 pages. Is this a good thing or bad thing? I can't decide.

Okay I am now regretting saying I liked both POVs. Lol Hook isn't as interesting... but for a genre where parents/adults are hardly around, it is good to see his side of things. Idk if I'm making sense.
