Book Obsessed discussion

I finished this one back in January and I didn't like it as much as the first. I was quite bored through some of it. I gave it 4 stars because I really want to know what happens next after that cliffhanger and I still love Daniel and Luce together.

I started with it yesterday night. Wonder if I'll feel the same about it.

I liked this book better than the first. I am actually starting to like Luce better and feel her character is starting to develop nicely. I like Miles and Shelby also. Maybe I just like underdogs in general but still they seemed real nice to me. I gave the book 4 stars as it kept me curious as to what happens next. It brought in some new interesting characters and she's some light on the pretty dark events from the first book. However, to me there doesn't seem to be any foundation for the love between Luce and Daniel still. Maybe it will be made clear in book 3! And why is Daniel so terrified that he would loose his girl? Is it because she always ends up dying in his arms? I think there's something more to it so I'll be definitely reading the sequel.

I'm glad you liked it, I'll be reading the next one in March. I still feel like there is so much we don't know behind the entire story and I'm eager to find out.
