*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly licked her locker strip , the taste of Mallowmelt lingering on her tongue as she put her things away and headed to lunch hoping she'd bump into her friend on the way .

jpnmusings Felix watched the pretty girl as she turned the corner of the level five atrium, her sweet scent still lingering in the air. He knew he should be focusing on the notes his conjuring mentor had written for him, but he couldn't take his eyes of her. He also was aware of the fact that he supposedly owed his parents an explanation for the reason he hadn't gotten 100% on his midterm for elementalism right after school. He hadn't meant to get dust in his eye only a second before the tornado he was supposed to be bottling came out of its case and destroyed his mentor's desk, not that they would believe him. His parents expected him to do everything perfect, said it was necessary to "upholding his legacy" and he always just sighed and tried to be his best in school. But this girl interested him. Felix, all year had watched her and could tell she was diffrent than the other girls that now the last of were slowly finding there way out the atrium. Though today there was something strange in the way her eyes nervously searched every nook and cranny, like she was looking for something and he could see a stiffness in her long strides as she walked out. So he put his books away and with his quiet steps echoing in the now empty atrium, he followed the girl out.

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly made her way through the lunch line and hurried to find a table to sit at .She started biting her nails nervously as she faced the Level fives making there way to their usual spots with their friends.
She was really nervous that her friend Zia had gotten herself into in detention again and that she'd have to sit alone AGAIN . she sighed and rubbed her temples.she'd have to make better friends than Zia.
Why not start now?

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) She sat down and set her tray on the table.
Was This Really A Good Idea?
She thought sitting down across from him
"Hey." She said taking her bag off her shoulder and setting it on the floor.

jpnmusings It took Felix a second to realize the girl was talking to him. And another moment of relief to realize that she didn't seem to notice the fact that he'd been watching her all lunch period. She seemed just as nervous as he felt which helped boost his confidence a little. So he smiled a small smile. "What's your name?" He asked.

message 6: by jpnmusings (new)

jpnmusings Felix smiled slyly at Molly's nervousness. "Felix. Felix Landon." He told her. "Interesting choice you made there." He finally said to break the slowly growing awkward silence as he noticed the single slimy leaf on her tray. "Umber. Not the prettiest, but one of the top recommendations for brain development. Proves that sometimes things are more than they seem."she blushed a little and took out a book on alchemy. He liked her blush. He'd watched her all year and had never seen her show any signs of insecurity. She'd always seemed to have an air of confidence. Does that mean she's opening up to me?" he giddily asked himself, then quickly shaking the thought out right away. She's only just met me. he thought to himself. He finally sighed and pulled out his own alchemy book and started to read. He noticed Molly hadn't touched her single umber leaf the whole time they'd sat there.

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly only touched her umber leaf when the prodigies left to go to their classes chewing it up quickly she snatched her bag off the floor and mumbled a quick good bye before leaving to get her stuff from the atrium.
Felix was WAY better to sit with than the greasy drooly ponytail guys who gaped at her as she collected her things from her locker to head off to alchemy.
Felix was a little nerdy but Molly liked that.
Thinking as she turned the corner and nocked into Zia who smiled widely at her as she picked her stuff from off of the floor.
"Molly! I saw that cute guy you were talking to during lunch.lucky i gave you some privacy."
"Zia!" Molly said starting to walk into alchemy
"Aren't you a little old to be waisting your time on things like me sitting with a guy at lunch?"
"No iam not !"
entering alchemy Molly sat down at a table failing to notice a smirking Felix in the corner.

jpnmusings (Uh, you guys posted double time on that so I'm going to pretend Natalie posted first and Molly second.)

Felix hadn't meant to eavesdrop on the conversation Molly and her friend had, he had just been on the same hall at the same time in the same place. Okay, So maybe he did. But that didn't change the fact that he had heard. And truly he couldn't keep a smirk of his face when Molly didn't see him when she walked past. He couldn't help but feel slightly gleeful as he walked the rest of the way to elementalism with a skip in his step. A friend. That would be a very welcome change.

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly ran down the halls passing Zia as she was about to give one of the twins a prattles.
"Hey Bex!" Molly called out.
"I wouldn't eat that unless you want gulon breath for the rest of the week." She said as a few yonger prodigies snickered.
Molly Walked over and snatched the box of prattles from Zia's hands.
"Stop it.don't you get tired of this i hardly find it amusing." She said
Dumping the remains of the carmaly candy into the trash.
Zia had probably tweaked with all of them.
Bex was gone soonest thing after the candy was thrown and Molly felt satisfaction over the fact she saved a whole lot of prodigies from
Gulon braeath and who else knows what.
"Molly stop bossing me around. Plus who's a few verminion droppings gonna hurt anyway?"
Molly sighed as Zia held her crystal up to the light.
"See ya tomorrow don't study too much." She said before leaping away.
Molly groaned and pulled her crystal out leaping to Elemindale.

Jade watched, feeling helpless, as all the Foxfire students leaped away. They thought they were safe. They thought they would leap back to their homes. Little did they know that the Neverseen would be waiting for them, take them to their prison, and start controlling the Council with their new hostages. But the Neverseen didn't know about Jade. She smiled. Oh, after her plan, the Neverseen would be begging for freedom. Jade raised her leaping crystal and let it carry her away to the next stage. It was time to call the rest of the Collective.

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly sat on her bed flipping through her elementalism book.
She had been trying to get a hold of Zia on her imparter for an hour already and with no luck sent a voice message.
She jotted down some notes and decided to leap to Zia's when big beefy hands clamped thier arms around her and held a cloth with sweet fregrance to her mouth.
It burned her nose and throat.
She felt faint and closed her eyes "stop!" She yelled as a tear fell down her cheeck.
They pulled out a crystal and Molly took it to her advantage breaking from thier grasps she poured the rest of her energy into electrocuting them.
She felt the heat at her palm and her hand glowed icy blue .
Clutching thier throat she poured her power into them. electrocuting him harshly she stole the crystal from his stiff grasps
As he fell to the ground shocked.
She breathed heavily and looked at the crystal.
Where ever this crystal led was where he had been going to take her
What was she supposed to do now?
She rubbed her palm and wondered if they had expected to be up against a Charger.

((Yay! Awesome choice of ability! Is the Charger ability mentioned in Neverseen or Lodestar in one of the secret passageways? I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in the first few chapters of Lodestar! I'm going to post after we see Felix's POV :) ))

jpnmusings Felix stumbled towards the Leapmaster a hand clamped over his stomach. He checked to make sure no one was around. Not now. Not now. Not now. He repeated to himself as he called for it to take him home to Lightninglake were he was sure to have a long evening full of fake explanations and groundings. The purple grass of his home crunched under his feet as he walked up to the large slate gate. He went to put his key into the lock on the side, but to his surprise he saw that the metal panel had been melted and deformed and the gate was swung wide open. Felix froze immediately. The cramp in his stomach raged to a boil and Felix had to fight the urges to release his clamp on the void. It had been his secret ever since he'd started foxfire. He was no normal Conjurer. He knew that this was why his parents were always so hard on him. They had to keep him occupied so his illusions wouldn't fill his down-time. So he wouldn't become addicted. His mentor couldn't explain it. Felix couldn't himself. But he felt the void in his mind and in his body. He knew if he wanted to he could imagine any scenario away with a snap of his fingers. Solid objects were easy. Normal. And so he never told anyone that he could do so much more. But now he felt it. A disturbance. So he let his stomach cramp and welcomed the void. He saw the twinges of purple drifting through the air as he stepped through the gate. He walked along the aquamarine path that lead to the heavy crystal doors of Lightninglake. He took a deep breath before opening them and stepping into the wide entryway. He was met by silence and he stood there leaning against the door. All of the strings and ties of the void he felt tugging on him urging him away from where he stood. Something was wrong. Suddenly he heard a swift sound coming from his right. Barely thinking he threw out his hand and imaged shape and color. Light flashed across his vision and he saw the strings of the void, intertwining. They snapped and time slowed. He twisted his wrist and a flash of color lighted up a corner in the dark room. A vanisher appeared. Felix held him, with an invisible hand, frozen in both time and reality like he was trapped in an invisible block of ice. A wispy black cloak hung from his shoulders and he drew in a gasp. He had heard stories of crisis and rebellion. Tales of teens who were causing chaos fighting people in black cloaks with eye patched on there sleeves. He had one trapped here. His stomach was growing increasingly pained and he knew performing such a feat was taking a toll on his body.

"Let him go Felix." A deep voice called. Startled, Felix barely maintained his hold on the void and turned around to face another figure in a black cloak.

"What have you done with my family?" He asked, his voice raspy from the effort. He couldn't take on another one. Whatever they wanted he had a gut feeling it had to do with him being special. But he was just one person. What did they want with him? Why no one else? The figure laughed.

"Nothing barbaric." He promised.

"What do you want with me?" He asked now angry. He was getting the feeling that the stories he'd heard about evil dark-cloaked figures weren't as much stories as he thought.

"We are here to gather our test subjects back." He said tilting his head. "All part of project criterion."

Felix just stared at him. He continued. "In fact, my colleague has gone to collect your new girlfriend as we speak."

"Molly." He whispered. The figure nodded. Felix had to get out of here. He had to find Molly. He looked to the figure searching for his eyes in the darkness where his face should be. The void twisted into thin angry lines, feeding off his emotions. Test subjects. They were behind the reason his life was infested with stomach cramps and depression. He was an experiment. And so was Molly. He had to find her.

"This isn't over." He yelled at the figure and pulled the void shut sharply around him, trapping himself in eternal nothingness until he found out what to do.

(Yay! That was fun! Hopefully not to intense... And yay! Now we get to invent new characters who can be the rest of the "test subjects" for project criterion!!! (Mentioned in lodestar this is my own twist) SO EXCITED!!!)

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly searched the trader of his things obtaining another crystal
And a melder .
She stripped him of his cloak and claimed it as her own as she held the mystery crystal to the light.
Trying to ignore the fact that she had to let him go she stepped into the light and preparing for the prison he had been going to take her.

Instead of the dark horrible dungeon she had been expecting to see she was at somebody's house

What the heck?
She thought walking to the gate

The lock had been melted off and the gate door hung crooked .
she stepped through the gate drawing energy from her core willing it to gather in her palm as she walked down the perfectly trimmed purple grass to the door...which was half way open?

Was this another victims house?!
Her mind raced as she stepped through the doorway and looked to see a figure clutching his stomache.
"Are you okay?!" She cried rushing to his side.
She faced him and realized it was Felix?!

jpnmusings Felix had only been able to keep himself hidden until the black cloaked figures had left, but the affect was worse than anything he'd ever felt. The void had finally collapsed inside him and he hadn't been able to move since. It was scary to be paralyzed. So he'd lay there and cried, confused and helpless. He couldn't save Molly, he couldn't even save himself. It was because of this that he thought he might be hallucinating when he saw her leaning over his trembling body.

"Molly?" He asked and tried to rub his eyes but could only manage a tremble.

"Felix?" She asked. "What's wrong? What did they do.."

"No." He interrupted. "They didn't..." He stopped, not being able to summon up the energy to explain. "I..." He started again and then burst into a fit of coughing. Molly seemed to take in the situation.

"Here." She finally said. " This will hurt a little but it will restore your energy." Felix squirmed slightly as she placed her hands on his chest and closed her eyes. Suddenly the air around them turned bright blue and he felt a million prickles shoot through his whole body. They left a slight sting wherever they went but he could feel their power. So much power. Spreading tingles from his head to his toes. He felt like he could climb any mountain over and over again.

"Wow." He said as she leaned back. He sat up and scanned her. "What was that?" He asked.

"Just..." She paused. "Something special that I shouldn't be able to do.." She looked down. Suddenly her head snapped up. "You can't tell anyone!" She said.

"I won't I promise but..." Something clicked in his head. "Special... Something special..." His brain was calculating a million things at once. "You can use your ability to heal." He finally said. She stopped a moment and then reluctantly nodded.

"But it's more than that. I'm a charger. I'm not supposed to be able to do anything else but electric manipulation but... I can do more. I can change any level of emotion. I can cool them down to say. If people are to happy for me I can send an emotion of grumpiness in the electricity I may shock them with. Same goes the opposite way. I'm not supposed to tell anyone though..." She said and slumped as if a weight had been placed on her shoulders. Felix laughed. His power could change reality. Hers could change emotion. What could the other "test subjects" powers do?

"What's so funny?" She asked glaring. And so with a twinkle in his eye Felix told her about his specialty and absolutely everything that had happened since he'd talked to her earlier. And talking to her was so easy.

message 20: by *Molly Frannces* (last edited Dec 19, 2016 11:35PM) (new)

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) "Wow." Was all she could say everything was clicking now.
"We need to find Zia!" She said jumping up.
"Do you think she's okay?" She asked her voice cracking.
Felix studied her."i don't know."he said standing up.
"But lets go find out."
"She was probably attacked!"she hadn't answered her imparter when i called earlier! Molly thought she scared now for Zia and for
Everyone. Digging the leaping crystal Zia had given her two years ago out of her bag anxiously she held onto Felix with one hand and the crystal in the other.she held it up to the light and they leapt away.

Zia had gone straight to Atlanta to visit her mom who was working in one of the Bracelet Charms shops after school to drop off her friend Mara's bracelet and to follow Jades orders not to go home for a while after school the Neverseen probably found she wasn't there and left to finish thier job
Only to come home to her front door half open and Molly crying in her room and that cute boy she saw earlier Felix consoling her.
" umm hey Molly you could have knocked."she said as she pointed to the door.
Molly threw her arms around her and smiled brightly.
"Your okay! How did you get away?!"
"How did i..." She looked at Felix and gave him a look.
WHAT THE HECK?
But he was acting serious
"Molly what are you talking about?"
Molly closed her eyes.
"You mean you didn't see the Neverseen?"
"The Neverseen? oh no!" She said eyes widening.
Then a look of pure terror shon on her face.
"Molly we have to go NOW."

Jade glared at Timkin Heks. "What do you mean, they're unreponsive?"

He held his hands out as if to say, 'I surrender!' and motioned Jade to calm down. "The Collective is...experiencing some issues."

Jade glared at him. Usually she would be the polite, sunny type of girl that her parents would approve of. Then again, if she had turned out like her parents wanted her to, she would never have joined the Black Swan to become a Proxy. Zia, another Proxy, would have heard Jade's warning and - if everything went as Jade had planned - Zia would be safe.

Without a second glance at Timkin Heks, she pushed through the doors of his house and saw a pair of warm, sparkling brown eyes. The Moonlark was here.

jpnmusings Felix was pretty sure he couldn't be anymore confused than when a girl he barely knew shook here head, walked over, grabbed him by the collar and threw him against the wall. Pain ripped through his body and his vision turned fuzzy.

"Zia?" He heard Molly yell and saw her outline hovering over him and he felt the same tingles spread through his body as her electricity opposed his pain. His vision snapped into focus.

"Get away from him Molly."Zia said. Her hands glowed icy white and Felix barely had time to think as a large swirling typhoon of snow was hurled at his head. A froster. He thought through his growing confusion. The person who decides to randomly get mad at me had to be a froster. He braced for impact and through closed eyes suddenly saw bright blue light. He opened his eyes and saw Molly standing between him and Zia, a typhoon of sparking electricity meeting the icy blast.

"What has gotten into you?" Molly yelled.

"Me? What has gotten into me? It's you who's You defending the enemy." Zia yelled back.

"What? Felix is not the enemy" She replied throwing a look back at Felix. Both of their swarms of power began to fade, retreating back into there sources.

"Just look at his arm!" She spat glaring at him. "The mark of the flences, funders of the Neverseen. It's because of him and his people the Neverseen still exist." She continued. Molly turned to look at him. Felix's gaze followed hers to the twirled mark on his inside elbow. Felix laughed out loud. "This is a birthmark." He said. "I've had it forever."

"Yeah whatever." She said beginning to move toward him, her hands starting glow again. He looked at Molly to she if she thought this was as crazy as he did.

"Come on Molly, you really believe her?" He asked. In answer she reached down and rolled up the cuff of her pants revealing an identical mark as Felix's.

"What?" Zia asked when she noticed. The storm she'd been brewing disappeared in a flash. Felix and Molly shared a look then burst out laughing completely out of context "What is so funny about this?" Zia demanded. "You both are traders. This is the opposite of humorous!" Through broken up giggles Felix told them about what they'd learned about project criterion and the specials.

"Well, this... Changes things." She said finally shooting an apologetic glance at Felix. "I must hail the collective and schedule you a meeting to discuss the relativity of your marks and the strange ways your talents work."She continued.

"What's a collective?" Molly asked scanning her friend. Zia sighed.

"There is much you don't know about your best friend Molly ." She finally said. "I'll explain later when the time comes. You'll just have to trust me." She then walked over and gave Molly a big hug. Several awkward moments passed and Felix stood up and brushed off his pants. Suddenly Zia yelped and he swung his head that way to find Molly holding Zia in a choke hold, her pointer finger glowing bright blue pressed against the back of Zia's neck.

"What are you doing?" She called back at her. Molly didn't respond and simply removed her finger. Zia felt the back of her neck. "What was that for?" She asked.

"I don't know..." Molly startedlooking confused, then suddenly gasped.

"What?" Zia said, following her gaze and spinning her head trying to see the back of her neck. Felix gasped when he saw too. What had used to be bare skin was now glowing with a twirling mark he knew all to well.

Jade stared. Yes. She actually stared at her idol awkwardly until the Moonlark turned bright red and waved.

Realizing she was making a fool of herself, Jade shyly waved back-and went back to staring.

Someone cleared his throat. Jade blinked. "Fitz!" she exclaimed, running up to him with a hug. "Long time no see, cousin. Where's Biana?"

Fitz looked surprised, but smiled back at Jade. "Biana is with Dex and Tam-you don't know them but they're great-and are trying to figure out how to wake the Collective."

Trying to wake up the Collective? "Are they under some sort of sleep influence?" she asked.

A new voice added, "Well...we've tried waking them up, but they're not responding."

Jade jumped. She had almost forgotten about the Moonlark.

"Oh. Uh...hi! I'm Jade Vacker, and-" Jade's alarm beeped.

Oh, no. Zia was late. Pulling out a leaping crystal, Jade barely had the time to say, "See you later!" before she was pulled into the light, landing right next to Zia and two complete strangers.

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Jade and Zia talked privately, leaving Molly and Felix to ponder what they were gonna do next.
"Do you have any theories as to why You,Zia,and i , all have identical birth marks?" Molly asked quietly as Zia and Jade quieted thier voices.

"Yeah, but i'll keep quiet until i'm possitive i'm right." He said dazed.
"Oh." Molly said streaching her arms as the sky darkened.
"Not that i don't think it's important to tell you,it's just i don't want to scare you if i'm wrong."he said looking at her.
"Okay.you know i kinda hope we can go back to school and pretend this never happened." Molly said quietly.
"Really?" Felix turned to look at her,"you don't want to figure this out?"
"No it's not that i don't want to figure this out ,it's just i don't like having all my friends in this much danger it's super hard for me to know that you guys are having to do this." Molly looked at the dark sky and turned back to Felix who didn't seem to know what to say to that.
"We're leaving." Zia said as she walked up side by side with Jade.
"Really? Where are we going?" Molly asked quietly.
"Timkin Heks'." Jade looked at Molly ,and pulled out a crystal.Molly sighed and grabbed Felix's hand as they stepped into the light.

message 30: by jpnmusings (last edited Jan 06, 2017 06:51PM) (new)

jpnmusings Felix was scared. For as long as he could remember he'd walked through his life, nothing new. Every day was the same. His whole life was planned. He never thought anything would ever interupt his perfect world. But he knew. He knew there was something. Something stirring. A memory. It wasn't a dream. He finally understood. He kept his eyes on his feet as he walked down the path leading to a rustic mansion. Unicorns grazed in the purple fields around him, their high-pitched whinnies echoing. His heart heaved and he couldn't keep Molly's disappointed look out of his mind. But he couldn't tell her. She wouldn't understand. No one would ever understand. He knew that if what he was beginning to remover was correct, his life wouldn't ever go back to perfect. Nor would Molly's. Or anybody's. He felt tears press against his eyes, and he fought them. He stopped, panting and the others turned to him.

"Felix, are you all right?" Molly asked. Felix opened his mouth to assure them that he was fine, but his voice crumbled away and a sharp pain flared to life in his mind. Gouging and crunching, a never ending banter inside his brain. Felix fell to his knees, the pain unbearable. The night. The room. The girl. The memory danced in large form, weaving an intricate plot inside his mind. He felt his head hit the hard crystal path before he felt himself fall into the memory. Past layers and layers he went until it started at the beginning.

The moon. He saw it. So big and bright and beautiful. It hovered over his head and Felix couldn't help imagine that it was calling to him. Begging him to follow. To run. To play. Under his arm he clutched his tiny orange dinosaur stuffed animal. Cold wind blew through his hair and he shivered. Ahead of him his father was still clutching the strange pin they had used to leap here. He was confused with his father but had never passed up an opportunity to impress him, and felt obligated to do whatever his father suggested.

"Hurry son." His father said, as they walked along a snowy path, rounding a glacier. Felix found himself at the head of a tunnel, his father grabbing a balefire pendent hanging on the side. He clutched his stuffed animal tighter.

"Where are we going?" he asked his father.

"All in good time, son." Was his father's only reply. Felix was about to press for details when his father shot him a stern glance. His eyes filled with heat and his lips were pressed in a tight line. Felix kept his lips sealed. They traveled down the long path, the light from the balefire casting shadows on the cavern walls. The ground quickly sloped up and Felix found himself climbing stairs. Panting and breathless they reached the top and his father lead him into a large room with long tubes lining the walls and a silver chair in the far corner.

"Sit in the chair, Felix." His father ordered, hanging his coat on the rack at the entrance. Felix hesitated at the strange command and his father leaned down. "You want to impress me don't you Felix?" He whispered in his ear. "You want to be a son I can be proud of. Don't you?" Shakily Felix nodded. "So sit in the chair." Without hesitating this time he planted himself in the chair. He was scared at the way his father was acting. The way his eyes were intense and crazed. But he was to scared to ask the questions buzzing in his brain. So he sat and watched his father mix powders and liquids, each being perfectly measured. He poured everything into a large cylinder. He turned his head to Felix and approached, his loud steps echoing in Felix's brain.

"Felix." He said. "The time has come for you to serve your purpose. For you to play the part you are expected to. I promise you won't feel a thing. This is necessary. It will be for the good of the world. Do you want to help the world?" He asked him. Felix could only stare. His father shook his head. "I should never expected you to understand. How disappointing." Felix winced. Suddenly cuffs snapped over his wrists and ankles, trapping him in the chair. He struggled against his bonds but only succeeded in hurting himself. His father opened a cabinet on the wall and pulled out what looked to be a long stamp. He grabbed the cylinder and approached Felix again.

"Dad? Wh- what are you doing?" His father didn't reply, and suddenly poured the cylinder over Felix's head. Liquid dripped down his front and Felix let loose a scream. It didn't take him long to realize though, it didn't hurt. It didn't burn, it didn't itch. In fact, it seemed to soak into his skin. He felt it fill him and his body shook with the power. So. Much. Power. He could feel his heart expanding relishing in the flow. He was still busy basking in the power, when he felt a sharp pain in his inside elbow, and gasped as the power inside him turned into an angry swarm. He heard a hiss and then his vision cleared and he saw his father cradling a small disk that had a cloudy liquid swimming inside of it. His elbow ached slightly and when he looked down he saw a twirling imprint on the inside of his elbow. Identical to the stamp that now lay on the counter steaming.

"What was that?" He asked his father. He was surprised at how heavy his voice sounded. In fact every part of him felt both heavy and empty. " What did you do to me?" He asked again, louder this time. He didn't feel scared anymore. He felt angry. A small part of him was surprised at how confident he suddenly was and how understanding. He knew his father had done something to him. Something wrong. His father only shook his head.

"Someday you will understand the destiny I've laid out for you. You are the future of our society. You will be the reason for both the downfall of the elves and the uprising." He paused. "Congratulations." He said, a bit of the old twinkle in his eyes. And just like that Felix felt his confidence melt away. He followed wordlessly as his father lead him back out after depositing the disk of cloudy liquid in the first tube hanging from the wall. And Felix saw this time, in small letters, his name printed on the side. Felix Landon. He barely caught a glance of the next name on the tube closest to his. Molly, it said. He didn't think much of it though and tried to keep up with his fathers brisk pace. At the entrance to the cave they were suddenly met by a woman and two girls. One girl girl trembled in her pajamas, her arms crossed against her chest. The other just seemed confused. The first girl's eyes met his and she shot him a scared look. He didn't know what to say so he turned his gaze to his feet. The woman and Felix's father spoke in hushed tones. They seemed to come to some sort of agreement and his father again grabbed his arm and began to lead him farther outside. Felix turned his gaze back to look at the girls, but they were gone, already rounding the corner fading into the darkness. But his eye caught something else something he'd missed before. Above the cave engraved in the side of a mountain was an eye, set in the middle of a circle. He had barely processed what he was seeing when his father pulled him not the light of the pin, and the light dragged him away.

The memory ended and Felix felt himself began the slow trip up, up and back to reality. It gave him time to ponder what he'd seen. A revelation dawned inside his mind. Then another. It tugged at his heart and gave him a heavy, stretched out feeling. His dad took I'm to a place with the Neverseen symbol. He did something to him. His father was a part of the Neverseen. The realization was enough to make him wish he could curl up in a ball. But there was something else. He knew those girls. He had stared into their same eyes. Molly and Zia. And if that was Molly's mother, then that meant Molly and Zia were... Sisters. With a gasp, Felix woke up.

Sorry if that was to long. Or to intense. Hope it made sense!!!! XD

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) Molly was Super worried about Felix
He looked sick to his stomache and when ever she'd ask if he was okay he just shrugged away.
She needed to know what was wrong something had changed him
He was definitely hidding something from her.
Molly sat on her bed in the heks' guest room upstairs.
She had mixed feelings about everything she didn't know what to do.
She hugged her knees and banged her head on them as she tried to think of a way to confront him without getting pushed away.
"Molly stop it." A calm voice said making Molly jump as her head snapped up to look at the figure standing in the doorway.
"Uh...hey." Molly sucked a breath in as he entered the room and sat down next to her.
"So whats up?"
"I was just coming to check on you."
"Okay well i'm...fine." She finally said as her voice grew quiet.
He searched her eyes before saying,
"Really? Cause I don't think you are."
Molly looked away,"no really i'm okay."she didn't sound convincing but she still hoped he bought it.
"I'm sorry about earlier." He said with a sigh,"i just... i can't tell you."
"Okay." Molly said folding her legs crisscross applesauce.
"Then what can you?"
"That there is more to this then we ever thought."
"That totally makes me feel better." She huffed.
"I think you 'd be happier if i didn't tell you." He said quietly.
"What if i'd be worse off if you didn't?" She asked looking into his piercing icy blue eyes.
"I...don't think that'd be the case this time." He said looking at her saddly.
"Well okay but...i need answers either i'll like it or not." blowing a breath out she stood "i think i'll go get something to eat care to join me?"
Felix sighed and dragged his body off the bed following her down stairs.

"You guys are quiet." Zia said when they all ate lunch quietly in the Heks dining room.
"When they said nothing Zia continued eating her food .then Jade came through the door looking worried "we have a problem."
Zia swallowed her food and looked up at Jade, "Is it urgent?"
"I don't know Does the council freaking out about the missing students and blaming Timkin for not warning them sound urgent?
I mean he's only facing exile thats not too bad right?" She said nearly fainting right as a red faced Stina walked in,"yeah you guys have to get over here ,it's not good."

The Council all stood in the Heks livingroom yelling at Timkin
"Do you not realize that we have students missing?!" Emery yelled harshly,"And you could have prevented it?!"
Timkin looked stunned,"i didn't have enough time!it was too late!"and with that the purple faced Bronte exploded.
"There are students who could be being torchered right now!!!!!"
"And everybodys blaiming the council for their kid never coming ho-"
Molly shut the door and left running down the hall.
She couldn't listen to them arguing it was a waist of time so she hurried around the corner and up the stairs.
She was going to find out what was going on.
If Felix had found out then she could too.

Molly willed the blue electricity to her palm and stared at it. she looked knowing what she was. a project an expiriment.
She looked letting her power fiz to a small glow the way she did when healing.
Why did they make her?
Why could she do this?
She groaned at how cluless she was and froze.why was she sulking?
That was the most important question.
If she wanted to find out what she needed to know she could sit around and wait for somebody to tell her or go to the core of the problem and find out.

(( You guys are doing great, so I decided to add a few more twists of my own. Hope you like it! :) ))

Jade stared at the Councillors, slowly curling her palms into fists. Jade, being the youngest member of the Black Swan, had learned at a young age that most of the Councillors were jerks with egos as big as they were powerful, and so she wasn't quite affected by the Councillor's intimadating shouts and glares as everyone else seemed to be.

She noticed that the other kids were fleeing the scene, not wanting to face the wrath of the Councillors, and soon, she was left with Timkin Heks, Stina Heks, and some very apopletic Councillors. The Councillors, big bunch of babies they were, were still shouting at Timkin Heks, who looked like his worst fears were coming true. Jade was sympathetic. She had warned Timkin in hopes that he would be able to protect his child and the Collective, but even that time wasn't enough for protecting the Collective.

"Stina, leave the room." Timkin Heks said quietly. "But-" Stina started. "I said, LEAVE!" Timkin shouted. This time, Stina ran out of the room, and the Collective finally stopped shouting. Timkin looked at Jade, silently asking if she was going to leave. She shok her head. No. She was not going to leave anyone to face the full wrath of the Council. Her parents may have worshipped the Council, but all she saw when she looked at them were greedy so-called leaders who didn't--who couldn't--understand the problems elves faced every day.

An elf who looked like she spent too much time admiring herself spoke. "Was the experiment involved in this? I wouldn't be surprised. I've never liked the looks of her, consorting with the Vackers." "Excuse me?" Jade asked, "Are you talking about the Moonlark and my family? Because she--and all the Vackers except me-- had nothing to do with this. In fact, I was the one who found out about the kidnappings. Either way, it shouldn't have been a twelve year old who found out about this. You should have been doing your job of protecting us, and you failed! So forgive me if I think Sir Heks has nothing to do with this-I think it's your fault that this happened!"

A Councillor with dark skin caught her attention, and she realized that he was trying to get inside Jade's thoughts. She kicked him out of her mind. His eyes widened, and he whispered something to the vain Councillor. Thanks to Jade's extraordinary hearing skills, she heard him say, "Alina, Beguile her."

Councillor Alina started singing, and everyone but Jade was immidiately entranced. Frowning, Alina sang harder than ever, and slowly, a voice joined her, singing, "Alina, go to sleep. Alina, go to sleep." The song was so strong that all twelve of the Councillors -and Timkin - fell into a deep sleep. Jade smiled, slowly ending the song with a decresendo. Not only was she a Telepath who had skipped three grades, she was a Beguiler who had put some of the most powerful, grown elves to sleep in less than a minute. She was the final test subject of Criterion.

Veela Rheem was not one to show any emotion. But when she arrived home, she felt like crying until all the tears ran out.
"How did I come to this point in my life?" She whispered to herself.

"Mom? Dad? I'm home!" She yelled.

I looked around at my house as I stepped off of the leaping pad. The entrance was decorated with blue-green painted glass, hanging down from the ceiling. The walls had a metallic-silver sheen, and the windows filled almost the entire room. She liked to sit and look out the windows sometimes, to see everyone going on with their lives. As she was inspecting her house, she heard a crash upstairs.

"Is everything okay up there?"

No response. Veela started to get worried. She cautiously started to climb the marble stairs when she heard another crash. She ran up the stairs, and saw that her parent's bedroom door was swung wide open. They
always had their door shut. Phasing her head through the wall, she saw that part of the window in the room was broken. She looked around for her parents, but they were gone. Rushing to the window, she saw a note stuck on one of the window shards. It read:

Come to the cave by the forest before sunset, or your parents die.

The sun was beginning to set, making the sky turn orange and pink, with little hints of purple and blue.
How could something be so beautiful when my parents just got kidnapped? She hurried out of house, and started to run to the cave, her black cape with dark green outlines billowing behind her. Veela arrived at the mouth of the cave, and started to walk alongside the wall.

"I didn't think you would come," an ominous voice said, in an almost teasing way.

Startled, she looked around for the source, until she came across a dark figure hidden in the depths of the cave. The figure had a black cape on with the hood up, so she couldn't see his face. On his sleeve he had a white symbol, an eye inside of a circle. How strange.

"Where are my parents?" She yelled, trying not to let her voice break.
"Don't worry they're fine..." He said.
"...for now," another cloaked figure said. They both laughed, filling her heart with fear.
"What do you want with them?" She started to get angry.
"Oh no sweetheart, it's not what we want with them, it's what we want with you!"
"W-what do you want with
me?" She nervously asked.
"Oh many things. But instead of just taking you, we are willing to make a deal," the one on the right said.
"A deal? What kind of deal?"
"We will let your parents live..." the one on the left said. She gasped in relief.
"...But, you have to work for us," the one on the right finished.
"Who are you?" Boldly, she walked a couple steps towards them.
"You don't recognize us from your nightmares?"
It dawned on her.
"You're the Neverseen, aren't you?"
"Correct. Now, do we have a deal or not?" They were getting impatient.
"I will never work with you! You're evil!"
"That could be argued. But if you don't agree, we will kill your parents right now."
"No! I-I'll do it," Veela gave in.

For years she had done everything they asked her to do, no matter how risky it was. But today crossed the line. The Neverseen wanted her to become an assassin. They gave her a target. They wanted her to make it look like an accident. No, they decided not to. They wanted to strike fear into people's hearts. But she wouldn't do it, she wouldn't go through with it. Not this time.

jpnmusings ( Hey guys, I know this took me a LONG time to get up. Sorry!!! Anyways, it's the longest I've done yet... Sorry again!!!!)

Felix turned down another gloomy hall sighing as he went. Molly's stricken face was a permanent slide, playing itself over and over in his brain.. He hated that the pure disappointment in her eyes was directed at him, and it gave his heart a heavy, stretched out feeling. But he couldn't bring himself to tell her. He didn't want to be responsible for the cloudyness that glaze over her eyes like it had done in her times of utmost distress. The news would break her. It would break everyone. Being an experiment was enough, but to know that the ones responsible for it had been living under the same roof as you was the kind of earth-shattering news that might bog down everything. They had solutions to find and questions that needed answers and if the others knew there own grief to distract them from that. But deep down he knew Molly deserved to know the truth. They all did. But she also also deserved to be spared the pain he felt now. His eyes brimmed with tears as he pictured his Father's teasing eyes. His father was always hard on him but he had known that he truly loved him. Or he thought he knew. He shook his head, clearing his mind of the thought. And then there was Zia. That opened his thoughts to a whole other flood of feelings. He wanted to ignore the hunch he had about her and Molly's relation, but there was something in the way the two girls in his memory had clung to each other and the same fear that had dappled their wide innocent eyes. It was the only reason he could think of to describe that. Besides that, his mind kept flashing back to the cringing Zia rubbing the back of her neck and the new swirling mark that had formed there. There had to be a reason to why it had appeared when Molly had shocked her. Something about it was too fishy to be a coincidence. This theory he knew he wouldn't share with anyone until he knew the truth. It would raise to many questions that he couldn't answer.

Finally he found the entrance in the maze-like house and took a deep breath as he pushed open the doors and stepped outside. He needed to get away from everything. He wished he could float into the sky and wallow in the fluffy clouds that drifted happily overhead. He could hear the council's nasal arguments inside the doors quickly being followed by Jade's sassy replies to any point they made. That made Felix smile. For the youngster that she was, she was quite the spitfire. For a few relieving minutes his mind drifted from his worries. He walked around the pastures, petting the occasional unicorn. It would lift it's head, winny softly, then go back to its munching. Large Pures swayed in the breeze, their sweeping branches creating a peaceful hum. He smiled wider as the strings of the void suddenly began to appear, Greeting him and begging in a language unknown, for him to play. He reached out his left palm and they wrapped around his hand and began moving up his arm. A sense of pure joy filled him and he reached his hand into the sky and willed the strands to weave. He had barely blinked before he looked up and saw a large hand, extending from his own. It pulled him to a nearby Pure tree and Felix noticed one of its branches was snapped and barely hanging on to the trunk.

"Poor tree." He cooed and mimed wrapping his hand around the broken branch. The yellow hand obeyed and wrapped a gentle grip around it. The light seemed to merge into the branch, one life force meeting another. The branch lifted and began to mend until finally, it was back to normal. Felix stared in wonder. A tiny laugh escaped his lips. Then another. He turned around, his mind giddy and pulled on the most peaceful and beautiful strings of the void. Swirls of every bright color exploded from him, forming wave of pure life that he sent hurtling through the the fields. It spread and spread, leaving flowers popping up everywhere and the everlasting smell of life wherever it went. Felix let out a contempt sigh. He had forgotten he was capable of such beauty. Everywhere he looked nature sang of health and abundance and shone with warmth and light. Nothing could ruin that moment. Or so he thought. Suddenly he was pulled back behind the tree he had healed, a hand wrapped over his mouth. His eyes narrowed and he pulled on the void with all his might. An angry buzzing began in his ears and an army of reality swarmed behind him awaiting their master's command. The figure let him go and threw back the black hood of their cloak and, much to Felix's surprise, he found itself staring into the eyes of a girl. But in her eyes he saw fear. That made him hesitate a moment. Only a moment though, and his eyes narrowed again and he raised his arms to send his storm down on her.

"Wait!" She said. He hesitated again, but held on to the frenzy he was brewing. She took a deep breath. " Please, I've come to tell you something important."

"Oh, did you?'' He said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. He swelled his brewing storm larger.

"No! Please!" She replied.

"Save it." He interrupted.

"It's about Linus." She said finally. His force began to sink and he froze.

"How do you know that name?" He said quietly. Dangerously.

"Listen, that doesn't matter. What matters is that he's in grave danger." She replied shakily.

"How so?" He said, turning his attention to the patch on her sleeve. His eyes narrowed. "And how do I know I can trust you? Your probably only trying to distract me," He spat. Her expression softened and she sighed.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand the pain I feel every time I put on this cloak, nor the complexities behind my reasons, but I do expect you to hear me out, for I bear news that is crucial ." She said. Felix was suspicious but with a slight tilt of his head, he motioned for her to continue. By now the remnants of the void had disappeared. He could still feel them lingering though, awaiting to see if they would be needed.

"The Neverseen have plans to murder him." She replied matter of factly. Felix's eyes went wide and before he knew it he was approaching her.

"What would they want with him!" He shouted. "He's innocent!" He spat again. Her gaze remained serious and she put a hand out to stop him.

"Frankly," She replied. " They were trying to get your attention."

"Me? Why?" He replied, confused questions popping around his brain. She sighed again and her shoulders drooped like an enormous weight had been placed on them. She said the next words like they pained her.

"I can promise you I know not they're reasons, only what they told me when they assigned me to be the assassin. Felix froze. His rage bubbled out of control.

"They what?" He said darkly.

"Calm down, I didn't actually do anything. In fact, I ran away just to warn you. They know I've betrayed them now and won't be long to send someone to do the job. And someone to do the same to me." She said, frowning. Felix felt a sharp stab of pity for the girl. He didn't know who she was but something told him she'd been through trials he could only imagine. The same small insistent voice told him she could be trusted.

"Thank you." He finally said, somewhat uncertainly.

"You won't be thanking me unless we do something." She said reaching into her pocket and pulling out a leaping crystal. Felix understood immediately. He stepped forward and reached to take her hand and then hesitated. This was a member of the Neverseen. The bad guys. Was he really willing to put his life in the hands of a member? Then he thought about Linus's face and slowly he took her hand. He would be wary later. Right now saving Linus was all that mattered. She smiled a knowing smile.

"By the way, I'm Veela." She said.

"Felix." He replied simply. She smiled and Felix watched as she raised the crystal and Felix felt the familiar tingling sensation as the light filled his body and he was on his way to rescue his little brother.

(Hope it all made sense... Up to you guys now!!!! :D)

*Molly Frannces* (primteahatter) "Felix's gone!" someone shrieked as Molly got dressed the next morning. Her hair brush clattered against the floor.
What did they mean?
She thought sprinting out the door and down the hall.
When she got there, Zia stood over Felix's bed a worried and scared look on her face.
"What do you mean?" Molly asked entering the room silently.
"I've checked everywhere! He's gone!"
Molly looked quizically at Zia before saying quietly,"did you check on the grounds? I saw him walking around them last night."
"I said i've checked EVERYWHERE."
Molly swallowed,"Where do you think he went?"
"I...i don't know." A shadow darkened Zia's face.
And Molly then realized what had happened.
The Neverseen had kidnapped Felix.
Molly was in shock, her knees were giving out and she walked over, on shaky legs, to the bed and sat on it.
"I...i don't know what to do." She said as her voice shook.
Zia hugged Molly and locked eyes with her.
"Molly, we will get him back, but right now we need to leave.all of us.
Molly took a deep breath and let an uncontrolable sob slip from beneath her lips.
"They'll kill him they'll_"
"They won't kill him...they might torcher, but he's valuble to them."
Molly sobbed openly now letting all her anxiety and worry leave her as she thought about how she failed Felix and her friends.
She LET them take him. She didn't pay enough attention.
No, Felix is strong he can fight them off. At least long enough for us to save him.
The Neverseen were willing to kidnap people.
How far would the Neverseen go to get what they wanted done?
Molly looked at Zia.
"We have to focus on whats happening now. Lets plan on getting Felix back when we're united with the rest of the collective."

(Your move...)
