For a large portion of the story, we were led to believe that Buzz was the killer. Did Lily identify him specifically? Whatever happened to him?

I'm trying to remember. I think Lily told Maggie over the phone that the killer was a person at the construction site. I probably would have jumped to the same conclusion as Maggie in thinking it was someone working the construction.

He just disappeared and was never mentioned again. It was never made clear, at least in my recollection, if Lily named the person who attacked her. She seemed to have known him so I don't know why they thought it was Buzz.

Confusing. I think this is a plot hole.

Could be. I returned the book to the library or I would go back and see if I could find the scene.

I went back and checked. When Lily got ready to tell Maggie the name, the chapter ended before she identified him. The next chapter had Maggie looking for Buzz.

Ah. One of those conversations we weren't allowed to hear. Why would Kava do that? I remember her doing the same thing in Damaged. Maggie was talking to the female rescue worker when the lady's drunk BIL came over and started making trouble. It cut to another scene and we never knew exactly what was said.

I have no clue, Robin.

Lily identifies the killer as being the person wearing the cap withBooty Call written on it. Maggie concludes that it is Buzz because he gave her the cap. It seems a logical assumption given the information that she has from Lily.

Once the link is made to Elliot, Buzz is cleared of suspicion. So, I guess there is no need to mention him again. He is not a suspect.
