Hey guys.
could you please recommend me some books where the serial killer is the narrator? the majority of books focus on the victim or the detective being the narrator and I couldn't find many that focus on the serial killer.

Kiss Me Like You Love Me by Wednesday Lee Friday. The narrator shifts from chapter to chapter. But, in a good deal of the chapters the killer is the narrator.

Serial Killers Uncut

Just a great book. Part of a series by the two authors.

It is 3rd person, but not from the point of view of the victim. I think the first line of the description says exactly what you are looking for.

I'm not sure if the serial killer is the narrator in psycho or american psycho but they are both serial killers.

This is an indie book I read recently. It's about a brother/sister serial killer team. However, this details HOW they became serial killers. Quite graphic in parts, not for the squeamish. It's part of a series too.

The brother/sister serial killer team sound interesting.
I have read most of the Dexter books and they are entertaining.

I read the first one in the series and so did my book club it caused a lot of debate because the narrative is told by a teenager and the some of the other members of my book club were put off by it, but like i said it was a different perspective and let me know if you read it whether you like the twist the author added.

I liked Diary of a Serial Killer by Shawn William Davis.

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis is indeed narrated by the killer, although it is not a serial killer, just a plain, regular, f-up psycho.

Dark Origins (Level 26) by Anthony E. Zuicker is narrated by both the killer and the investigator.

I also recommend Memento Mori by Cesar Pérez Gellida, but I am not sure if it is published in another language besides spanish.

If you haven't already, read DERANGED by Harold Shecter. I don't recall how much is in first person or if fits your request but it will definitely shock and sicken you. It is about the notorious real life serial killer Albert Fish. Robert Bloch once said people are into Ed Gein only because they've never heard of Albert Fish...and it's all true. Forget Bundy and Gein and Gacy and Dahmer. This guy was the master. and enjoy the part with the needles.
