Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys wanted to do a book club here in this group. On this discussion we will decide which book and how much we should read over a certain period of time. If you can't get the book, we can all comment on a new book. So if you guys are in comment Ya and once we have about five or six people, we can start recommending books! If you guys don't want to do this, just say no but just because one person doesn't want to do it doesn't mean that we can't do it with everyone. Everyone is included! If I get enough supporters I will explain more directions asap! Thanks!

Sure! Let's do it!
Does anyone else have Wattpad? It's awesome and there are some published ebooks there FOR FREE!!!!!!!
And the fanfiction is killer-not to mention that some of my favorite books are from authors who haven't published their work but totally should!

I wish I had Wattpad but I alas don't think I can:( but I have FanFiction on the bright side. Thanks for joining the book club!
Any good ideas for books to read while we wait for more members? I was thinking Heartless by Marissa Meyer, but I don't know if you guys have all read it or not.
I'm not really aloud to read much YA so it would be best to stick with MG. BUT BESIDES THAT I'M IN!!!
Well, I've read Cinder, so...
*gets back to thinking*
And in the times someone already has read the book, we have to promise not to spoil anything.

Yes, of course. Right now we have three members, and I think that we should have all of the Mods participate and all of the people who contribute a lot to this group.
Did you guys read anything? If not i think we should all come up with a small sample of something we've wanted to read and then we'll vote which book we should read.
Does that sound okay?
How bout we each pick a book that we want to read. Once me, Malayna, Ramya, and Molly have posted here about one that we want to read, I'll make a poll and invite you guys to it. You guys can each vote for a book BESIDES the one you picked and we'll see which one gets the most then we'll start. sound ok?
Of course, take all the time you need. I'll only do it once everybody posts there's. I don't know mine yet either. :). Also, forgot to mention, let's keep it middle grade. I know I'm not aloud to read most YA, and it would be best if we chose something sort of low key like that. :)
I'm sure you have some on your want to read list Malayna. Just list say 3, and I'll look them up and chose one that would be fine to represent your choice :)
The Book thiefI know you guys have it on all of our to read lists :)
Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak’s groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. With the help of her accordion-playing foster father, she learns to read and shares her stolen books with her neighbors during bombing raids as well as with the Jewish man hidden in her basement before he is marched to Dachau
Ok! If no ones read it :)!!! If all if you guys have not read it, then I will add that as Molly's choice!!! :)
Here's mine:
The wishing world by Todd Fahnestock
Summary:
In the Wishing World, dreams are real. You can transform into your own hero, find wild and whimsical friends, and wield power as great as your imagination. But Lorelei doesn't know about any of that. All she knows is that a monster took her family.
It happened during a camping trip one year ago. Hiding inside the tent, she saw shadows, tentacles and a strange creature. By the time she got up the courage to crawl outside, the monster--and Lorelei's mom, dad, and brother--were gone.
Lorelei is determined to find her family. When she accidentally breaks into the Wishing World, she discovers a way. It's a land more wonderful than she could have imagined, a land of talking griffons, water princesses, and cities made of sand, where Lorelei is a Doolivanti--a wish-maker--who can write her dreams into existence.
There's only one problem: the monster is a Doolivanti, too. What he wishes also comes true, and he's determined to shove Lorelei out, keep her family, and make the whole Wishing World his. To save them, Lorelei must find the courage to face him, or her next wish may be her last
I guess I want to read The Book Thief. I've always wanted to but every time I start, I get so bored but I think this time I will have enough motivation.
My choice:
If the Magic Fits by Susan Maupin Schmid
Summary:
Inside an enchanted castle, there’s a closet—a closet with one hundred dresses that nobody ever wears. Dresses like those need a good trying-on, and Darling Dimple is just the girl to do it. When she tries on Dress Number Eleven, something unbelievable happens. She transforms into the castle’s Head Scrubber! It turns out that each dress can disguise her as someone else. And Darling is about to have an adventure that calls for a disguise or two…or a hundred.
There are great reviews, and it seems like an excellent middle grade book! (And it's the first book in a series)
The protagonist is 10 or 11, and the book's about friendship, too.
