Tatjana (antoniabird) | 43 comments Excellent, Don! One of the things that keeps me coming back to these cookbooks is their fearless approach to flavor. I firmly believe I've gotten even more creative with flavor since I've been cooking from their 3 books.

Tatjana (antoniabird) | 43 comments My pictures came out looking like Oatmeal no matter how I tried, but I made the cauliflower and chickpea Biryani last night and it was delicious. I didn't have garam masala, but in India I was told it's a very personalized combination of specific spices. I just made it up... it kind of tasted like Ras el Hanout. I vaguely followed basic recipe from Madhur Jaffey's Asian Vegetarian Cooking.
