Huge apologies, everyone. I have just finished this book, yet totally neglected to set up a discussion thread. Has anyone else read it? or do you plan to?

Ummm, I am a bit out of the loop but, based on your message here, I checked out the audio version. I imagine it will take a couple weeks for me to listen to the whole thing.

Kate, it's a long book. And you're not out of the loop! I totally dropped the ball. I remembered to read the book but forgot to do everything else one should do when organizing a group read. Oops and my apologies!

Betty I'm on my first reading of it, having started this evening with the physical book and the audiobook simultaneously. I'm not planning on chiming in much until I begin the second reading. So far there are five characters (it's confusing) in a deserted hospital in 1967--Ora and Avram with infectious hepatitis, Ilan, and a nurse. The next chapter will jump ahead to the year 2000.

Carol (carolfromnc) | 208 comments I will be reading it soon, but didn't get to it this month, alas.
