Obsessed With YA & NA discussion

Hey guys! So sorry I'm posting this late! I thought I posted it. I just realized now that I only posted the Alienated portion for today. Super sorry about that!

What do you guys think so far of the first half?

Rest of the schedule:
May 29th: Chapters 19-23 (up to page 384 of paperback)
May 30th: Chapters 24-end

It's finally starting to pick up a bit for me. The whole raid scene at first was cool. Just a simple formality, but when Lena went out to warn Hana I wanted to jump in the book and slap her. Granted she was being a great friend, but trying to save her friend's life almost got her killed. That dog bite sounded NASTY! Those "officers" killing people on sight was brutal as ever.

I love that Alex saved her life, confessed his feelings and that Lena is able to experience love. Maybe Lena will be the one to become an Invalid since Hana got that love and disobedience scared right out of her. Thankfully no one, but Lena knows that Alex isn't really cured.

Risking his life for a crush to turn into more...Alex is such an interesting guy.

I loved the raid scene! That was when it really started to pick up for me and for me to actually start enjoying the book! I was getting nervous that I wouldn't like the book because nothing was going on.
I'm really glad it started picking up!
